free quick service & royal rooms??

i have a pin code for free Quick serve which saved us a lot of $$. does anyone know if there is a restriction to the royal rooms with this code. Right now we have a ressie @POFQ but I really want to stay @POR in a royal room. I keep calling to check but all the CM's tell me its "unavailable" not 'booked".

Unless they'll tell you on the phone, I can't see any way to know whether they just weren't ever available for the offer, or there were very few of them and they were all booked up already.

Hi! I got the same pin for free quick service. I was able to book the royal rooms with the pin, but it was very hard to find dates it was available. I kept searching and searching. So I think it will work for you but maybe not your dates.

Thank you for the info. At least I know it can be done! I was told tonight though that if someone changes their ressie from the RR's they go into the block of regular rate rooms not back to what is put aside for the offer. So unless the regular rate rooms don't sell for rack rate (which I doubt) I'm out of luck!

Last week I was able to book a RGR, garden view, for the 3rd week in Oct. with a free QSDP PIN. I priced it out online first with my PIN and then called to actually book, numbers were spot on. I really wanted POFQ but it wasn't available that week, but now I'm happy I got POR instead.

You guys are so lucky! I am really starting to loose hope. I know that FQ is a great choice I just want to surprise and blow my daughter way. I'm going to keep calling maybe they will get tired of me

I had no luck with calling. I called twice and was on the phone a long time. The girl was very nice but couldn't find any thing, she kept trying but nothing. I used the online thing and when I found a date that would work I called back. I swear we are better off to find it first and then call. I was told so many things like I couldn't get the royal rooms, or certain dates were blocked out and I just kept changing my dates by a day, then another day till I fond some thing. The date wasn't ideal for me so we ended up changing to June(which I was told was blacked out) but I could get it online. Good luck! Now we are bringing my nephew so we have 5 and can't stay in the royal rooms. When I think of all the time I wasted trying to get those really rooms.
Oh well the best laid plans. It's Disney no matter where you stay it will be AWESOME!!!!!

I had the same issue, I finally went on line and went threw the hole process all I need to do click the button and they were mine. I called a CM and got the same story "sorry all are unavailable". I pretty much almost flipped my lid. I don't get it! I explain about it being available online so what is the issue. I told her that others have the room 4 the same offer. She told me , it was pretty much it's just me that could not get the rooms. YES that was her wording! ME!I flat out asked her"so Tom dick and Harry can book these rooms with this offer but because my name is Pam I can't get them". She sai "yup!" I got so mad I hung up. We r traveling with my mother, she has her own room. She called and had no trouble at ALL getting the royal rooms, with the %off and quick service. She rebooked her room and ours.
So long story short, it was me!!!! I just could not get them. No pixie dust for me, but my mom was a big winner! Finally!!!

I would just check every morning online with your pin. When I got my pin last week, there was no availability for POR (where we were booked with the resort discount already), but it had CBR and CSR. I was debating changing but also just checked every couple of days- then yesterday there was suddenly availability at POR (all room types) so I booked it...it was still avail. last night but gone this morning.
So, you never know...keep checking and it may pop up!
