Thanks for posting this. We used to order from the "Shwan Man" every two weeks religously even thogh they are a bit pricey, the quality is so good.

Then, we moved. I have tried 3 times now to get and keep a guy coming. While it is true my orders are not huge (between $50 to $100) they will come for a while and then I never see them again?!

It has been several months again, so I went in, placed an order for our fav's, cream cheese stuffed pretzles, and it took me as a new customer. We shall see.

Not sure why, but my balance is 7 cents for a delivery charge. Oh well, a good price anyway.

No tipping. They are independent reps on commission--hence the stalking!

Just like a PP stated. I also was supposed to have my free ice cream delivered on Thursday, waited all day and nothing. I emailed them and they stated its supposed to be delivered on Monday. Why did the system spit out Thursday when I ordered then? I never got a response, and I have no intention of sitting around all day on Monday too. I think they could at least give me a delivery window.

According to the guy that delivered my mini-corn dogs....it's a glitch and they've been instructed to NOT collect that. Of course, ymmv.

I'm ok w/ the stalking- I told him what time of day would be best to stop by. I'm happy with the idea of him showing up late afternoon b/c getting something quick and easy from schwans is cheaper than ordering take out or going out! Their prices aren't that bad on many products - definitely cheaper than Market Day and the quality looks about the same.

Thanks, OP! My order - free sliders, and then I bought omelets - went through, and the site says somebody will be calling me within two days to confirm delivery date. Heck, I didn't even realize Schwan's exists around here!

Just got my veggies. Question though...I had put my CC info on their site when I ordered. I got a confirmation email, with the last 4 digits of my CC# on it. When the guy came, he said it holds it until he scans, but then he still had to take my CC. Has this happened to anyone?

I just ordered the 6 cheese tortellini. (It was hard to find a single item under $10 so that gave me a good excuse to look through the site). I haven't had Schwann's in many, many years I think so if this is good, I might order again in the near future. Thanks to the OP for the link!

Yes, I place my orders on line and when the delivery person comes and I am home he does take the card and run it through for me.

I ordered the funnel cake fries. They just sounded too good NOT to order them. Have to admit it is a pretty good marketing ploy, though. I saw lots of things that looked really good and I had NO idea they had such variety.

I'm pretty sure he's going to be stopping by weekly, he kept saying "The regular day for this route is Tuesday..." soooo I'm thankful that I've got class on Tuesday
