I got my Chocolate Malt Twist Ice Cream on Monday and it was amazing!!!! I got a catalog with my order and I was drooling. It is a good marketing ploy because we will probably order again.

Thats good to know because my ice cream sandwichs never came but it's only been a little over a week even though is said it was going to be delivered the next day.

I was supposed to get it yesterday. It never came, and I sat home all day waiting.
I called around 4 and they had a driver call me. he went into a long explanation that it was not his route. He told me to call another driver. hthat driver was rude, says that is not my route, I called back, and then had to wait for a call from a manager. He said they would deliver on Friday. then the driver called and said he doesn't deliver to my area on Friday, but would come today. Too much aggravation for me.

I don't think that the online system really takes their "routes" into mind.

I wouldn't get too upset that the free product wasn't delivered... I figure you'll get it. The driver is probably planning to come on whatever day he does do your area in order to keep from upsetting his regulars.

I know I wouldn't want to upset the people who regularly purchase from me just to make someone who ordered something free off the internet happy.... I haven't looked at the catalog he left yet. I'm scared.

Got my free stuffed shells today, the guy was real nice. He gave me a catalog and said he'll be in my area in 2wks if I need anything.

Got my cookie dough right on time.

After I ordered online, I waited till the next day then called the toll-free Schwan's number on the website. I was able to verify my order, as well as find out exactly when the delivery guy would be in my neighborhood.

He showed up when they said he was, and was very nice. Left a catalog and told us when he would be back by again.

I don't know that I will order again, cause they are awfully expensive, but some of the stuff in the catalog looks really good!

Thanks OP! Sorry to say I am amongst those that have had problems with this offer. When I first placed my order I contacted live chat and asked how delivery went. They told me that before the order was finalized one of two things would happen either I would be given a list of dates to choose from for delivery or I would be contacted via phone within two days to set up a delivery date. I continued the process of ordering and was never given either option - suddenly my order was complete and it said it would be delivered that same day. I immediately contacted live chat and they said they wanted to deliver next day I informed them that my schedule was super tight for the next day and would only be able to squeeze in a two hour time frame that matched their delivery schedule - they said that was no problem delivery would be made within that frame - the guy never came and I never got a phone call. It is now three days later and nothing! My DM also placed an order and was not given a delivery date but has also not been called to schedule delivery. It's hard to be too upset when a company is giving you free product but it really looks bad for the company that they are not following through - certainly not professional to schedule delivery and just not show leaving people to sit home and wait all day without any further contact. I for one was kind of looking forward to possibly placing more orders with them and this promotion gave me the incentive I needed - but now it has sort of left a bad taste in my mouth. Oh and should I mention I have not received my order but have already received about 4 emails from them, promoting their product...

Ordered mine almost 2 weeks ago and today is my delivery day. He visits a friend of mine down the street whose child I babysit every 2 weeks on a thursday so he should be here later today. I didn't order any extras but my aunt did and is having them sent to my house since she isnt home during the day.

I ordered the funnel cake fries on Monday, they were here Wednesday. We ate half the bag last night. The guy was here when the website said he would be. He was very nice, just left some coupons and said he was out of catalogs but would leave one in a couple weeks when he came by again.

We thought the funnel cake fries were very good. All in all, it went fine for us.

Just got the cheese tortellini ordered. The driver didn't remember what we'd ordered, I thought about making up something LOL. Those funnel cake fries sound good - I might need to try them next time. The only thing was he didn't have a catalog, but we can just order online again.

Got my turkey pot pies today. The driver said he would not be my regular driver but left me a catalog and let me know when a driver would be in my area again (8/27) Wish he had left some coupons - I will probably order the tortellini next.

Thanks so much for the link! I never even heard of Schwan's? I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowls (2 in a package), sounds like they'll be good to take to work for lunch.

Edited to add: I wanted the sweet cream cheese stuffed pretzels but they're out in my area.
