I received my free Mediterranean couscous last week, but I haven't tried it yet. I have noticed that Schwan's has been calling me everyday, though.

We used to always have a freezer full of Schwans products -- 22 years ago when we lived in Minnesota!

I ordered the "free" product earlier this week; the email said it would be delivered Thursday 8/13; and sure enough - the Schwans truck pulled up about 10 mins ago with our Beef Shepherds Pie and a catalog!!

My order was to be delivered today, but it hasn't arrived I was home the entire day (except for about 30 minutes when I had to run an errand). My luck is that the delivery man was probably here at that time.

Oh well. I'll hope he was too busy and will show up tomorrow.

I ordered the cream cheese pretzels and got them today. My delivery man called me around 10 and asked what a good time would be for him to drop it off. I told him I'd be home until 4 and he said he'd be here around 1 or a little before. He came at noon, dropped it off, along with a catalog and some coupons. He couldn't have been nicer and there was no pressure at all. I was worried he was going to try and make a sale, but he didn't at all! I will probably order again, especially since I was given those coupons.

My delivery was scheduled for Wednesday and no show. There was someone home all day and all day yesterday as well.

I got my chicken pot pies yesterday and the driver even gave my girls samples of the ice cream cones and sandwiches. He said he was all out of coupons but would bring them next time. Anyone have an online code?

Got my chocolate chip cookies last night and made a batch. They are great! I will probably be placing another order. I have heard that the muffins are good as well.

I received my order! The local Customer Service manager showed up on Wednesday. The regular driver comes on Monday.

We haven't had a chance to try our stuff yet, we went out of town for a few days.

I was expecting my delivery on Monday - it is now the following Sunday and I still have not received it. Nor have I received even a phone call. I just finished leaving a message with live chat and sending an email. I just can't understand why any company would run a promotion like this and then show this kind of customer service... Oh, and my DM also placed an order same day and has also heard nothing.

Is anyone else still waiting? I have emailed Schwans contacted live chat no less than four times, been given at least three different delivery dates and still nothing! Same things with my DP's. The worst part is that they seem to have an attitude that screams I don't care - you are only getting a free item. I would think they would strive to provide impeccable service in order to get repeat orders. I was just wondering how everyone else's order went? If you all got yours perhaps it is the driver in my area but then why after so many contacts has Schwan not done something about it?

I emailed and received a reply that someone would be contacting me - NOT

Delivery was to have been 8-12 and it is now 8-20. The Schwan's truck was in our neighborhood several times a week and now it has completely disappeared. When they started coming around about 2-3 years ago they stopped but said deliveries would only be during the day - sorry no one at home so no thank you. Within a month the truck was around several times a week in the late afternoon or early evening but no one ever stopped to see if we were interested.

Oh well I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere!

Okay, got a little update! I was originally supposed to receive delivery on the 10th, then Live Chat changed it to the 11th. Nothing, no call. Then after Live chatting and emailing I was told the 20th - so today I talked to Live Chat to confirm and was told now it was the 21st. Disgusted I asked them to please have someone call me with an actual date and not just a pat answer. So, the phone just rang - Schwan's - Uuummm - we won't be in your area until next Thursday. Okay, so do we have any kind of time frame - no but I'll call you that morning. Okay - so maybe we are finally getting somewhere! Glad I did not spend today or tommorrow sitting around waiting again though. Bildmouse - I'm sending your way - hoping you will hear from them today too!

I'm still here waiting too! At first it was supposed to be last Friday, then the website said Saturday. Friday night i contacted live Chat but of course they were gone for the day. Finally Sunday i get word back from them that my representative wll call within 72 business hours. Ok, what the heck is 72 business hours! So I call them yesterday, 72 real hours later, and they put me on hold to call the driver etc...

Now supposedly they will come today, if they do not I will cancel my order. I did order other stuff besides the free stuff but I'm not waiting forever people!!
