YEAH!!:cheer2: It's always a great feeling to get those coveted ADRs taking care of.

I ordered our MVMCP tickets today, and I will be ordering out photopass+ soon. We have been planning a trip for over a year now and I am getting so excited. It's nice to see my countdown getting closer and closer to 100 days. I have two more weeks of summer break before I have to go back to school. I am really get excited about our trip to ease the pain of going back to work.

Cool! I'd like to do MVMCP some day. :) We are doing MNSSHP for the 1st time this trip. I know what you mean about the countdown, very exciting!

We take our kids out. School board has a policy that they must report any more than 3 unexcused absences to a social worker. You are allowed 7 unexcused absences per year( no MD note).

Even if we told the teachers and principal before we went we still got the warning letter about the 7 limit.

So this year we are not bothering to inform anyone. Their teachers never gave them their work ahead of time anyway. They just had to catch up.

We have learned that spending time as a family is much more valuable in life , especially when one considers is only 5 days of missing school. ( 4 actually since we go veterans day week.

You only live once and you never know how long you have in this world with your kids. They will be grown up and gone someday too. Best to live life to the fullest now!

Amen! Very well said :) We're taking our kids out for a week too. We took them out last year as well. My husbands schedule is crazy so we squeeze family time in whenever we can. Especially since he's a police officer....every family vacation counts that much more.

Our full dates are 10/15 to 10/22. We planned on getting there the 15th and not going to the park. On the 22nd we plan on just hanging by the pool and not going to the park either. So a 5 day hopper was what we are planning.

Is anyone else still having issues with the website? I called late thursday nite and got a CM to cancel my CSR reservation and apply my $200 deposit to my POR reservation. He said it would take 5 to 7 days. Well, the CSR reservation is now gone from the site (finally!) but it still shows tickets for both reservations and it does NOT show me getting credit for that extra $200. Can anyone confirm if it is normal to take this long? I know its not been a full 7 days yet but usually things get transferred/fixed/etc long before the time they tell you (as they usually pad the time to cover their butts). I'm going to call them tomorrow if nothing has changed and its a full 7 days, I just wondered if it was normal. Thanks in advance!

Mine looks exactly the same way as your's. The CM yesterday said it would take a couple of days to correct itself.

Not horrid but I have had better. I have been waiting for 3 days to finally get in to see my Dr. about this suspected case of pink eye that I have been suffering with for 6 days now. Been stuck in the house until it is confirmed whether or not I am contagious...how do you think I have been passing the time...:rotfl:!

I sincerely hope your day gets better soon.

They should have seen you right away or at least called in drops. You can't let pink eye go.....I hope they can see you tomorrow.

Me! Horrible day! Just got my husband past a bulging disk is his back and today I've pulled a muscle in mine. Stuck in bed for the next day or two.

Oh no! Advil and ice....and rest :)

I just saw today about the free dining offer. We have a family suite booked at Music. We are arriving October 15th. I called today and was told that we couldn't get the free dining because we aren't arriving on the 18th. So I asked if we could split our reservations somehow and be able to get the free dining. I was told we couldn't. I'm so bummed. Then I called back and tried to talk to someone else, who was much more helpful and she was able to give me 300 or so dollars off our room. But no free dining. Does this sound right?

We booked this so long ago, I can't believe its 2 months away now.

Ok, I haven't done a split stay myself so someone else can verify. I think you could do the Room Discount for 10/15-10/17, check back in 10/18-10/22 for the free dining. You would need to make sure the 10/18-10/22 had at least 3 days of tickets to be eligible.

Alright, and here's what I think the "problem" is. All Star Music suites had very limited availability for the FD...so it's probable that there isn't a FD room available for you there. So that's probably why they are telling you no. And AOA of course is not eligible either. So if you're a large family, I'm not sure where else you could stay, maybe connecting rooms? Maybe somebody else could suggest what you could do about a different resort. But I have a feeling it will be more expensive.

Hope that helps. :)

Come ride with me on my favorite ride!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcdmXDX2qgc

Thanks for the ride :)! This will be my 6th trip to Disney, and I never rode this. I am a huge chicken:scared1:! I am scared of heights and hate the drop in my stomach that I anticipate at the end. With that said, I really, really want to try this ride this time. How bad is the drop at the end....remember it's Chicken Little you're talking to :eek::scared1:

I've never ridden that ride. There was a 2hr wait with no FP left last year. I can't wait to go on it this year.

I remember one summer waiting well over 2 hours to ride it! The line was out to the bridge where you can watch the splash down, and every single curve of the line was open.
We loved it so much, we even named our dog Zipper - as in zip-a-dee-do-dah!

It's not bad, and there are other small drops through the ride, as you can tell it's quite long.
