Anyone need Keens for Disney? They are on zulilly.com today! Got my kids sandals for November. But I forgot to shop through mypoints. Oh well.

I ordered some today too! Excited! Got some for DH. Still might get another pair for me too

Yes I'm staying by choice since its one of few I haven't stayed. I think I'll like it with the new look of the rooms.

I'm bummed over not getting POFQ but had no real preference between POR and CSR. Getting a little excited about trying something new. Just wish it had a table a chairs instead of the desk!

We take our kids out. School board has a policy that they must report any more than 3 unexcused absences to a social worker. You are allowed 7 unexcused absences per year( no MD note).

Even if we told the teachers and principal before we went we still got the warning letter about the 7 limit.

So this year we are not bothering to inform anyone. Their teachers never gave them their work ahead of time anyway. They just had to catch up.

We have learned that spending time as a family is much more valuable in life , especially when one considers is only 5 days of missing school. ( 4 actually since we go veterans day week.

You only live once and you never know how long you have in this world with your kids. They will be grown up and gone someday too. Best to live life to the fullest now!

Yes! I want to make memories with my daughter while we are able. School is important but family is more important. We are so excited about our December trip!

Not horrid but I have had better. I have been waiting for 3 days to finally get in to see my Dr. about this suspected case of pink eye that I have been suffering with for 6 days now. Been stuck in the house until it is confirmed whether or not I am contagious...how do you think I have been passing the time...!

I sincerely hope your day gets better soon.

Vision disturbance?

If its conjunctivitis. It contagious no matter if its viral or bacterial. Most conjunctivitis is viral a d self limiting to 7-10 days. Bacterial forms might require a prescription to knock out.

Proper hand washing will likely prevent transmission to anyone else.

Most of the pain and itching is gone...corner of my right eye is where it was concentrated. No vision disturbance thank goodness other than I have had to wear my glasses for 5 days now and I just don't see as well out of them. So if I am still contagious I may not be going back to work tomorrow...oh boy!

I need some tips!! I am looking for a good deal on a rental car. I would like to use Alamo or National Rental since they are on property. I need to pick up on property, and drop off at Orlando MCO airport. Rates at $62/day for smallest car, which I think is WAY high. I can find some cheaper deals by doing pickup/drop at MCO and using magic express, but that seems like a pain. Just 10/7-10/9. Ideas smart planners???

And finally snagged a Tusker House ADR before the park opens!!! I had a 9:40am but had really been trying every day to get an earlier one. So I'm thrilled!

I loved CSR last year! I was so nervous going in because it has a bad rep, but the beds/bedding are so nice and pool is awesome.

I haven't heard a bad rap from it -- just the size is intimidating! But most of the other Disney hotels are much bigger so guess I will have to get used to that!
