Free Dining Anonymous (and a whole lot more)

Five pages already? :scared1: You people should be ashamed of yourselves...absolutely ashamed. If I didn't know better, I'd say you all are a bunch of free dining addicts. :confused3
My name is Kathy and I have a double addiction...all things Disney and Free Dining. But I don't think I need help...that's denial right?! Lol

okay you guys seem like the ones I can vent to. lol So my DHs mom asked us if we wanted to go to Disney with them in august and of course who wouldn't take a free trip lol so ive been trying to figure out with her what week works and everything and told her if I book it under my name we can get the park hopper upgrade for free and the 15% on the room(she only likes to stay value which like I said hey its a free trip) but she isn't getting back to me and im getting annoyed since its under 130 days till the week ive been looking at and I need to start making my dining reservations!! ahh im a nut when it comes to have all reservations and park days planned lol im a Disney nut what can I say lol

and there is no 12 step program for a Disney FD addiction. :rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe Disney could offer a program for a fee of course and at the end of the 12 step program they give you FD to start ones addiction all over again. So once again you have to pay for their 12 step program. :rotfl2:

My dad talks about a family trip, and as much as I would jump on any chance to go to Disney, I would not look forward to it as much as just my family. My sister and I have a complicated relationship, she has always had to make everything a competition and I am just sick of it. She would try to control the trip, from where we stay to what we do and eat, even though I am more into Disney than she is. She just has to be in control though. She would insist we stay at AoA but we would end up in LM rooms them (don't need to pay the extra for the suite unless we would share the room with my parents, and then DH would kill me) and we don't do double beds. But that way she would have the "better" room as she has a family of 5.

A Disney half marathon is on my to-do list too! Not sure which one. Actually thought of doing our next trip a week earlier to try to do the F&W but a trip with the races would be a much different trip than the usual vacation. And I'm not ready to give that up yet for the money we spend to go. One day. I REALLY want the runDisney shoes and wish they were available outside the race events. Those are more elusive than Vera Bradley bags!

Glad we have this to keep the group going! Hoping for FD for our November trip but will be nice to keep up with you guys on "so much more!"

We had a complicated family trip a couple of years ago. One person in particular fought about everything throughout the planning. It took us 2 years to plan it, but once we got there everyone had fun. Plus you could always ditch the annoying relatives once you get there. I did a couple of times. :)

I resent that accusation. I mean...it's completely true, but still...

:lmao:

Exactly! Who does he think he is anyway????:lmao:

Just your average man in tights, I guess.

I believe he is also our leader..........

We are planning a trip sept 1-6th. Does anyone know how hard it will be to get a 2bed room at BLT with the FD or room discount? I got a pin and tried a few times with it but no luck, although I may have been too late for it. Also is it better to call or try online?

My BF and I are really excited about going in late October, never been there at that time!! We've been there late August/January and always had FD! fingers crossed!! :cheer2:
