I am so glad you all asked because I was totally clueless. That still looks real painful. I have one tat and will have brother give me another when you gets home from his extended vacation in March. Thanks for all the support. I will post pictures from the ride. I just submitted my app for a 65mile ride this fall as well . I am so addicted now and my DH loves it.

Hey, does your brother do good work? Would he give a FREAP a discount? Would he do something custom like the one I want? Might be worth a roadtrip up to Indiana. How far are you from Louisville?

We live about 6 hours away all the way up north in Indiana. He use to do great work before so I am waiting till he gets back and see some of his new work and he is always open to custom work. He is even good at cover ups. I will send some pics when he gets home.

What a messed up world we live in.


Okay gang just to give you an update. This weekend I was just in a funk. Well Monday I woke up with a fever of 102. I went into work since I felt fine and had a meeting I needed to go to. Well as the morning went on I started felling very bad. My left B@@B was very swollen and I could not lift up my arm to well. So I called Drs and they had me come right in. They seemed to think it is infection. Thye put me on a strong med. But It is no better. So I am off to the surgeon. They feel if I am complaining it has to be bad. I will let you know what is going on when I get back.

Kellie, I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you've been feeling Hopefully this is only a small bump in the road and you are already on your way to recovery....please keep us posted and you are in our thoughts and prayers as always! I hope the meds start kicking in and doing what they are supposed to do w/minimal distress to you and your family.

I am back.
For some reason that the DRS said is a chance of like one in a million the redation has caused the scar to open up on the inside. So what does this mean you ask.
Well it mean for some reason the the scar is forming a big water pocket and the fluid is infected. They are shocked I could handle it as long as I did. So now they have opened the outside to see if they can get it all to drain. If it not any better by next Tuesday then we will have to choose the next option.
most likely they will need to go back in for surgery and redo the whole inside and remove pocket.

Good morning FREAPS! Sorry about your latest obstacle Kellie. Hopefully it will drain properly and you will be feeling better in no time.

Not much going on here, just the heat has returned in full force. I wish summer would stay like it was last week-highs in the upper 70's and lows at night in the 50's. It was sooooo nice. The good news is my garden has started producing a little here and there. We've had zuchinni, a few tomatoes and my favorite summer menu item FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!!! DH and I love those things. My basil is doing great so I probably need to get some pine nuts to make and freeze some pesto. Ahhh....at least there is something good that comes from summertime to make up for the oppressive heat and humidity(I don't even want to talk about the chigger issue we are all having ).

Ugh. I really don't like chiggers.
I don't know if they don't like Ohio or if our yard just isn't to their liking. But when we go to KY to visit the IL, OUCH!! Those things are everywhere. And they really like my babies. Poor little guys don't like chiggers either. Make going outside pretty painful.

We did no planting this year, so all I am managing is weeds. While I will miss the produce and flowers, I honestly will not miss the bugs and heat!

When we were in Savannah- they had to warn all of us visitors NOT to take the moss home as a souvenir- they are filled with chiggers!

okay 2 questions

1 what does a chigger look like? Or do I not want to know

2 has anybody else had any weird pc issues? My lap top has some weird antiviruis 2009 that has been tying to take over my pc.
It will not let me delete it
