Good Sunday morning FREAPS!!! I almost always think of Madd's aversion to Sundays when I log on the computer these mornings when the kids get up even before the Today show is on.
I can't believe they woke up so early. *cue the Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning" They went with DH and FIL to a family reunion in Carmi, IL yesterday. It's about a 4 hour drive each way and DH said they played like crazy while there and did not sleep in the car.
I thought for sure they'd sleep in this morning. Guess I was waaaaay wrong.
jeankeri-Welcome Back! Glad to hear you had a good time but, of course, we are a jealous lot and wish we could have been there.
Kellie-so sorry to hear you are still having complications.
Just think, there are some women who pay good money to cook themselves in a tanning bed. Imagine how much you are saving.
mtblujeans-My DH was diagnosed with high cholesterol last year and he took the meds(against my advice-I just wanted to try diet and exercise) for a whopping month before neglecting to get his refill.
Who knows what his level is now?
I have been blessed with great genetics. Even though both my parents are crazy overweight and out of shape they have great cholesterol levels. We do try to eat healthy most of the time but I am awfully fond of baking and using real butter, not to mention heavy cream and lots of cheese. Maybe I should have been French.
I do enjoy my wine as well.
DH gets a ton of exercise at work but wants to start running again. I have been running( a loose interpretation of the word
) for several years now off and on. I am trying to commit to doing it more often. I have to use a treadmill though and can normally only fit it in two times a week. My new goal is 3 times a week and I am trying to go farther. Friday I was able to run 3.5 miles and then walked 1.5!!!
That's the best I've ever done. I really want to do a race one day just to see if I can but I'm afraid that I won't be able to really do it outside since all I ever run is on a rubber mat with my speed regulated.
