Sounds like so many freaps need a shout out I have been gone so long......

Kellie- You only a a few more treatments! Friday the 13th will be a GOOD day!- superstition my tush!

We_Love_Disney- I hope you are feeling better from the fall!

Alesia- sounds like you are having a load of problems at work! Doesn't seem like anyone wants to step up- you should take care of your family and %$#@ everyone at work- sorry, I learned that long ago- sounds a little harsh- but, life is short, family first! Let them worry about being short staffed! ~~~ And OMG! That strawberry hat is ADORABLE!!!! Did you think of that on your own- or was it a pattern?! My vote too for your name- Mad as a Hatter! You should use my goofy little guy in my avatar as your design! I have the other black and white one too- he is a little disturbing but cool- I just Google Maddhatter images and there are a bunch there. Maybe get one with Alice in the pic! I have seen some nice ones.-----But that is awesome- use your anger to be productive-

Marna- hope you got to drink PLENTY of anything with strawberries and liquor the past few days

MT- did they have to biopsy your DH's polyps?? If so- were they OK?

IAHD- Stay cool at the game tonight! GO AHEAD! Spike the drink! They don't sniff it- I think they just check that it is not glass right.....kinda like......the MK..... NOT that I ever did that- I only READ about it But I guess you can still dance- they will think it was from the alcohol that you bought at the game for 10x the price of the stuff you brought in, unless it is a "cheap" dance, they might catch on

I heard about the tomatoes last weekend- I went to Wawa to buy a hoagie (do I need to explain those things? We have tons of Wawa's in our area- they are like 7-11s, and not everyone calls them hoagies- that night be a Northeast thing too- some call them grinders?) anywho! There was a sign up when I went to order my hoagie that I can't have tomatoes- I am just happy as a clam that the grape tomatoes are not part of it all- I LOVE those little "Santa sweets" YUM!

Saturday morning I was up at 6:30am to get ready for yard saling! I made out like a bandit! It was SO hot here- but I kept going, just wiped the sweat from eyes!

My body might be changing b/c it was about 95 Saturday and after I got home from yard saling- I ended up working in the garden mulching beds etc (DH got a huge pile of mulch) until 8pm! I used to hate sweating and the heat- but I was fine!

Sunday I was out of the house at 8am and back in the garden mulching and planting more until 4:30- again the heat was crazy, but I was out all day in it.

And yesterday after work- I went back out- we still have a large pile I want out of the driveway before Father's Day! I am mulching my butt off I will be out again today- It is supposed to rain so hopefully I can get more down before it comes.

The good thing about the rain is- tomorrow is should only be 85! and not the usual "real feel" of 102!

Ok, guys....this is as cool as I think we are gonna get:

As you can see, we are trying to prep the house to have it painted this summer and summer just isn't getting here! grrr...

We had snow in July, once, and it was so thick and heavy and wet that it broke branches off of trees all over the county. I hope it is going to be like that this time.

And Madd, I LOVE to sweat. I don't know why...but I also like the idea that my body is probably flushing toxins out of my pores. I can't handle humidity that well because of my asthma but I love to sweat in the heat. I love going to WDW even when it is hot because I don't get to sweat like that at home...DH doesn't like it but he is a gotta feel clean all the time kinda' guy and feeling sweaty doesn't cut it for him.

ETA: Where's HRH? Is DH still in Bozeman? teehee

Wow! Cool pics MT!! I guess those of us who are sweating to death would love that idea- but if that is what you know, you probably just want the snow to be over with by now!

I can't say I love to sweat- I am with your DH that I love to feel cool and crispy and fresh all the time. I just seem to tolerate it much better this season. Not sure why. Fall is my favorite season though!

Yesterday I had sweat dripping down my face so bad- I walked over to DH who just showered and had a white T on, grabbed his T and just wiped my face all over it I hate working outside with my glasses on b/c it never fails, when I am leaning over- the sweat drops fall on my glasses and I can't see

What part of Oregon are you in? What is your weather doing this week? I am in NW Montana...does the weather get colder as you move west?

I'm trying to motivate my self to sew the seeds on my strawberry hats. I hate to sew. I made some really cute apple hats yesterday. I'll try to get pictures soon.

Did you think of that on your own- or was it a pattern?!

I am completely unable to follow a pattern. Its like following a recipe. I start out with the best intentions, and then have to add a little of this and little of that... I've pretty much given up on patterns. I usually just start with some yarn and design as I go. If I don't like it, I just pull it out and start over.

Inability to follow directions is probably not the best trait for a preschool teacher... Fortunately, I think my OCD balances it out and I appear normal
