Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Well, my siggy is officially 100% Disney - I've never done that before. What do y'all think of my new siggy?

Hi all. Wow, take a couple days break from the computer, and I guess things change a lot. That'll teach me! :rotfl2:

As a Garfield fan since childhood, methinks he should be our thread mascot. He's all about the lasagna!

Those of you who were keeping my grandmother in your thoughts and prayers, it's much appreciated. She got her test results back (fluid tests and 6  more x-rays of her lungs), and the "small spot" the original doctor's office saw on her lungs turned out to be scar tissue from pneumonia. She had it back in the 1930s, I believe. This specialist's office had better x-ray machines and saw what it was right away. The original doctor then saw them and said the same thing. The original office then told my grandmother: "Our machine isn't any good, so whenever we see something on an x-ray, we have no clue what it is." Oh, how nice. Anyway, as of now they think the fluid problem is due to an iron and potassium deficiency. How that translates into fluid, I don't know, but they're testing one last vial of blood before putting her on potassium and iron pills. I'm just thankful her lungs are okay! :goodvibes They said her heart is slightly enlarged in one area, but it's so insignificant that it's nothing to be concerned about. Whew. Good news was a welcome change, that's for sure! :yay:

Is anyone here going to WDW in late April? I have ADRs I need to get rid of, but would rather try and get them to one of y'all if you need them rather than just cancel them outright. So, just let me know. I have Brown Derby, Le Cellier, Tea, Whispering Canyon, Tony's, and Chefs de France available if any of y'all would like them. Just ask for dates and times. :thumbsup2

**cruisin' the cb** I feel like I'm living in a sequel of the Stepford Wives.:scared:

Wow...just wow. :sad2: With a push of a button we can be silenced. Now back to you regular programming of gardens and pure crap.

My sentiments exactly. All of a sudden after eight years , now things got so bad that it had to be changed? Sounds to me like sour grapes. Funny thing is, many of those saying how glad they are , are the same ones who were consistently posting/ bashing all along. It will be funny to see if things change back in two years. I doubt I'll be around much though. We're not planning a trip to DW anytime soon and things have suddenly gotten REALLY boring on the CB. I will miss you guys though. :goodvibes

I'm so happy to hear the good news about your grandmother!

You know what? That's the most happening thing on the CB.

Good grief.:scared: I think, we are to supposed to shrivel up and die from boredom.

Well, I'm sure a pool hopping or refillable mug thread will start up before too long in the resorts or restaurants forums, and you can sit back and watch the impending train wreck. :rotfl: On a serious note, it is very odd seeing the CB like this though.

studentmom, thanks.

- hi there and welcome to all those new names!

- my apologies to anybody i missed PMing with the new thread...it was a race against time.

- :grouphug: to those who've been caring for a troubled loved one, have broken something, are watching the earth spew smoke, lava, and ash, or who are allergic to lasagne.

- congratulations to anybody who had something good happen!

- banana layer cake is still my vote (and thank you for the banana eating lesson)

- soarin's beau's picture is in my signature.

- i cannot believe certain topics are not allowed on the threads, but how to cheat disney out of refills, swimming, and strollers is somehow okay.

Yep. I don't know what to say. I made an innocent comment earlier and it wasn't allowed under the new rules. I still don't understand. Some things I thought were off limits...are okay?:confused3 It goes back to what some folks think you mean. I'm really having to second guess and overthink every word.
