Tell me what you think.....I will be making ressies for my home resort AKV for May 1-8, 2009. Do you think Kidani Village will be at least half open so I can switch ressies from AKL to AKV???? We want to stay in the new building and hope we aren't going too early!!

In the past Disney has been a little ahead of schedule on most things. From what fellow DVC members are saying. It looks like construction is going well. Maybe someone else knows more facts.

While they've tended to be ahead of schedule, they've previously opened for cash early and have stuck to some type of announced schedule for points. I do think there's a good chance you'll be able to change over though.

Why would you want to stay at a brand new building? The place is going to smell like glue and paint and you know that there will be problems until they get the bugs worked out.

I love the smell of fresh paint! That way I know it's new.
