August, hot, hot, hot (we were there last year)
or should we go the first week in March (our kids spring break which is a little early)--what are the crowds like early March and how the weather?

We just returned from an end of March trip and the crowds were definitely there - but managable with a plan such as Tour Guide Mike. The weather was perfect - sunny, 80's, not humid at all.

I live in middle Georgia and I know humidity. I would NEVER go to Disney during the humid late summer. Even our last couple of days, when the temps reached mid 80's, I made the comment to DH that that was as hot as I would ever want to do Disney.

Don't be scared of the crowds unless Easter falls the week before or after you are planning. We had plenty of Spring Break folks and still did everything we wanted and even more. We will definitely go at this time again.

I would never go in Aug again. We were miserable. I'd definitely do early March in your place.

We've gone twice the first week of March. The crowds weren't bad except on one Saturday in MK they stayed open later and had the Spectromagic parade. Other than
that it was perfect. We wore shorts and tank tops. It gets chilly at night so bring a light jacket. we are going next year March 8th -16th. Have fun.

MARCH :thumbsup2 IF ALL WORK'S FOR YOU, DO MARCH :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

GOD BLESS ;)

We have gone the 1st week of March for three years straight. This year was gorgeous every day - no rain at all - 70's during the day all week. We have had cool weather (heavy sweatshirts necessary) and warm weather (85 one day this year). Of the 24 days in those three years, I would say there was only one day that was on the verge of miserable because it rained all day. Otherwise, when it rained it was gone within 15-30 minutes. We love this time of year. It is the week before most people's spring break and doesn't get busy until the last Saturday of our trip. The EMH hours are not busy at all which is fantastic. The most we have had to wait is like 30 minutes for Test Track (because of technical difficulties). Last year, we didn't get one FastPass because the lines were so short. This year we did get some fast passes (Soarin', Kilamanjaro Safari are the two I remember). We also waited 30 minutes for Haunted Mansion because we just went to MGM for that ride only one day (as we didn't get to it the day we spent there).

I haven't been in August since I was a teenager. I remember being miserable because of the weather. I can't imagine going then but that is many years ago so someone else might give you a better picture of August.
