Come on down Friday. That's when my Mom and I are leaving. If it's early enough we can get together for dinner or something.

I will be down on Thursday, so maybe we can get together on Friday for dinner. We need a list of everyones arrivals and departures so we can plan other optional stuff. I think Todd should take care of that.

Crazy Greta is being very goofy about the snow. It's her first big snowfall. Apparently, she loves it...

Actually, this is what I've seen most from her this morning - a full speed BLUR as she runs as fast as she can, plowing through the drifts...

As in 99% of books made into movies, the book is always better. I'm trying not to compare the two and just enjoy each one as a seperate story. I like the movie, but love the book.

I bet that would look great balled up in the corner!

We didn't get nearly what y'all got, but it still made for some stoopid drivers. One yahoo raced by me only to wind up in the ditch a quarter mile up the road.

Part of me would feel sad for this yahoo, hoping he/she was okay. The other part of me would laughing at them.

Morning all.

I ended up with about 4" in snow and from the sound on the windows it's changed over to sleet. I heading into work late. I really don't need to be there til 10:30AM. I dread cleaning the truck off.

We only got about 2" and it's going to start raining. No snow plow needed.

Yea, don't you love the peeps with 4 wheel that think that means they can go 60 on ice. It only helps you if one of the wheels have traction....

I just looked at SW's fares because I was entertaining the thought of coming in on Friday as well, but we just can't. It would save us $20 on the outbound flight...but we'd have to add hotel to that and it doesn't save us anything...lol


Plus...I don't mind getting up at that horrible hour. There will be no sleeping on this vacation!!

I have the 880 too. I love it.

I feel like we are in a BluRay holding pattern. We just can't seem to find the exact one we want. Also, we need a new TV because we only have 1 HDMI. I know there are ways around that, but we are looking for an excuse to buy a new one.

How do you like the Netflix downloads? I think I would like that. Do they has TV series on that?

This was a few pages back and I'm way behind. Another 880 person.

We were also not in the market for bluray but I had been doing research and decided I wanted the Samsung BD-P2550 / 2500. 2550 is the Best Buy exclusive model with Pandora. They both have Netflix. It's not the cheapest player at $350 but it has the features I want. 7.1 analog outputs, internally decodes the new audio codecs, etc.

Got the last 2550 at my local Best Buy and they are hard to find now. I really like the Netflix even with my slow 3mbps internet speed. You have to manage the queue via pc in your Netflix account. Offerings are limited right now but I find it a nice compliment to the Netflix bluray discs I get in the mail.

They do have TV series but not everything. Anything specific?

Just because you have 4 wheel drive, does not mean that you have 4 wheel stop.

Does it drive anyone else crazy when people have HD TVs and watch standard definition TV on it all the time? My parents have regular cable hooked up to their LCD and it makes me crazy.

OMG. This is dad! He's getting better about it but I have to keep reminding him to tune to the HD vs SD channels.

Yea...It's pretty nasty here north of Indy. I decided to work from home and many people who work at our company decided to do the same.

I thought it would be a no-brainer, that I'd get the HD tv and have satellite which would get HD....but I blame my neighbors' trees, I can't get the satellite HD dish/receiver, because it's too blocked....grrrrrrrr....
