That's the spirit. I told my Wife Kim that the other day and she just gave me that "Are you crazy" look. She asked me if we were going to Vegas or on a cruise.

Yea...It's pretty nasty here north of Indy. I decided to work from home and many people who work at our company decided to do the same.

I'm glad that you have the ability to work from home, especially when there are situations such as this.

Umm..yea...if its on an HD channel I'm watching it. What annoys me almost as much is when people watch it with the bars on the side....yuk...

Dodie I just saw your pictures of the snow! Basically we had every type of precipitation today (rain, snow, ice)...Can Not Wait until the cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and for this miserable cold weather to be over

It's SUPPOSED to turn to rain today, but right now it's about 2" of snow. But then again, after it rains, the temp is supposed to drop. Oh, loverly. Ice sheets.

we arrive on Friday at like 11am. we were planning to do Boma for dinner that night, after doing some shopping and lunch at Earle earlier that day.

well it is a mess here- .5 inch of ice in Dallas. most of the school districts are closed and my son's day care, so we are home today- working a bit from home. there is a ground stop for DFW right now too for American Airlines.

They are now saying that there is a reported 12.4 inches of snow at the Indy airport and 9 inches of snow in the area where I work. They said that it's the 9th worst snowfall in our history...and they also pointed out that we received 15.5 inches of snow during a blizzard in the 70's.



12 inches of snow people.




I'm so moving to Florida.

Yea...I'm pretty fortunate; although part of my job duty is to manage the work-at-home network equipment/VPN infrastructure. As you could imagine our Team is pretty busy today. I'm going back and forth between IM, Email, phone, and the DIS!

Nah, the new TV's do a great job with it, they stretch the sides and leave the center in tact and you can't tell at all. The sidebars annoy me much more than the stretch. Plus the Satellite has a setting for 16:9 so I don't even notice it anymore.
