Just because you have 4 wheel drive, does not mean that you have 4 wheel stop. :)

DH says that all the time...

I have so many people make snide remarks to me about having 4-wheel drive and coming in late when I live so close to the office. Yes, 4-wheel drive helps me in snow. It does absolutely nothing on ice.

Thank you Alicia, Snow white is my favorite princess.
DH found her for me and surprised me with her this morning.:thumbsup2

Love the Snow White!!

At least you are now aware of our presence and won't be SHOCKED when us crazies have taken over the Wonder! Welcome aboard!!

Us crazy? I don't know what you're talking about!! :lmao:

:snail: :cold: :snail: :cold:
Slow cold morning, eh?

So I was looking at flights again yesterday...if I were to fly down Friday evening, I could go non-stop for $40 less and be there a half a day earlier....decisions, decisions.

DUH??

I need a cruise. Heck, I think my dog needs a cruise too. :rotfl2:

Crazy Greta is being very goofy about the snow. It's her first big snowfall. Apparently, she loves it...

Very cute!!!

Ack! Ice and snow just started outside! I might be stuck here at work all night!

How are you feeling?

That's the spirit. I told my Wife Kim that the other day and she just gave me that "Are you crazy" look. She asked me if we were going to Vegas or on a cruise. :)

You did tell her we're all nuts right?

Just went into a panic today as well I got 101 days to get my butt in shape to wear a bathing suit :scared1: :scared1:

You're not the only one!! :lmao:

They are now saying that there is a reported 12.4 inches of snow at the Indy airport and 9 inches of snow in the area where I work. They said that it's the 9th worst snowfall in our history...and they also pointed out that we received 15.5 inches of snow during a blizzard in the 70's.

12 inches of snow people.

I'm so moving to Florida.

:beach:

Ummm...isn't that like asking a fish not to float?:fish:

:lmao:

Hello.... again. ;)

Hey all, Shelly and I are doing the Sting Ray adventure together!:cool1:

Brandie, go to FB.....;) ;) ;) ;)

YEAH!!!!!

This was a few pages back and I'm way behind. Another 880 person. :wave2:

We were also not in the market for bluray but I had been doing research and decided I wanted the Samsung BD-P2550 / 2500. 2550 is the Best Buy exclusive model with Pandora. They both have Netflix. It's not the cheapest player at $350 but it has the features I want. 7.1 analog outputs, internally decodes the new audio codecs, etc.

Got the last 2550 at my local Best Buy and they are hard to find now. I really like the Netflix even with my slow 3mbps internet speed. You have to manage the queue via pc in your Netflix account. Offerings are limited right now but I find it a nice compliment to the Netflix bluray discs I get in the mail.

They do have TV series but not everything. Anything specific?

All this talk about the HBO shows I was getting sad that I don't watch them anymore. I miss watching Big Love.

Yea...I'm pretty fortunate; although part of my job duty is to manage the work-at-home network equipment/VPN infrastructure. As you could imagine our Team is pretty busy today. :laundy: I'm going back and forth between IM, Email, phone, and the DIS! :) :mic: :surfweb:

Ugh, that sounds awful. I guess I have had too much time at work now helping my parents. My dad came to me freaking out yesterday that he "lost his curser". The batteries were dead in his wirless mouse. Honestly, if wasn't there he would have been stuck.

Stuck at home right now. Watching Imagination Movers and eating Mickey Mouse pizza for breakfast. As close as I can get to Orlando right now.

Me too! Imagination Movers in one room, Monsters Inc in another room.

We have Imagination Movers going as well :upsidedow
It's one of my sons favorite shows.

Yea...It's pretty nasty here north of Indy. I decided to work from home and many people who work at our company decided to do the same.

Same here Aaron. VP and all the managers including me are home office today. I still have to shovel though. :rolleyes2

Snow is coming down heavier now. :mic:

Morning! Just catching up around here. We are flying in on Friday.

So far we only have a couple or 3 inches of snow. DH called - he sat on the highway for an hour before being sent home from work. He never even made it to the office. He can do pretty much everything from home anyways. I dodged the call this morning to go in. It is really easy not to answer the phone at 5:20 am

Nah, the new TV's do a great job with it, they stretch the sides and leave the center in tact and you can't tell at all. The sidebars annoy me much more than the stretch. Plus the Satellite has a setting for 16:9 so I don't even notice it anymore.

I agree but some of the versions of this are pretty lousy. My dad has an LG that is terrible.

Never got into Big Love. David Milch needs to get off his a$$ and finish Deadwood. They were suppose to finish it up with a two hour movie. I think I'm going to get out the dvds and have a Deadwood marathon. :thumbsup2
