Final season of ER - Dr Ross to make a guest appearance!!

Sorry if I missed this but I'm trying not to ruin it by seeing spoilers... thanks to the storm last night we didn't get ER... it was just a black screen all night... anyone know where I can watch last nights online for free? I can't find it in my searching...

As much as Pratt was a love/hate type of guy, I was quite sad to see him die.

I thought Frank was a recovering alcoholic? If I recalled that right, him taking a shot last night may lead to a bigger storyline for him.

Looking forward to getting Carter back. I've said it before, but I read something about the main writer wanting to end the show with him running the ER, so it is possible that may happen.

I hope they bring back a lot of the old people, even if for a quick cameo. (would be a great tie-in with Carter)

I would love it if Carter ended up running the ER. I just could not get into all the Africa storylines, but he is still one of my favorites. I wish he were on more than 4 episodes.

Absolutely loved last night's episode. I haven't watched in years, but thought it was time to come home, so to speak, for the final season. I started crying when Pratt was crying, but what really got me was after he died and they were wheeling him down the hall. That part just hit a little too close to home and reminded me of how the firemen and policemen were removed from the WTC, with the honor guards lining their path as they were brought up. Too much like art imitating life.

Can't say I've seen any episodes with Oscar/Archie :rotfl: in them, but man I thought he was so annoying and, as the kids used to say, such a poser! :rotfl:

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season!

I cried like a baby!
What really got me is when they were wheeling Pratt down the hallway :sad1: My tears would not stop coming.

I didn't like Pratt at first, but over the seasons he has grown on me.

I thought last night's epi was very good. I hope all the rest of the season is just as good.

I couldn't believe how much I was crying last night. As Oprah would say, I had the "ugly cry". When Pratt had tears running down his face, I just lost it. My son couldn't believe I was crying over a TV show.

Just finally got to watch it on Tivo - soo sad. I'm mad they killed off Pratt. Was a great episode - just like the old days of ER:thumbsup2

Anthony edwards will be reprizing his role as mark greene in one eppisode this season. IT was in the tv guide last week

They're going to do a resurrection??!! :scared1: :scared1:

I also cried when Pratt died. :sad1: I hate to say it, but I was hoping it was Sam. I never, ever liked her.

I'm going to miss the show, even though I watch most of it from behind a throw pillow. I just keep asking DH "what's happening now?" and wait for him to give the all clear.

There's a lot of speculation that George Clooney will appear in an episode. :thumbsup2

I was the exact same way...I hadn't cried that hard since Dr. Greene died

I think they are going to have some flashback memory moments.

Greene is going to appear in an episode with flashbacks. Supposedly the storyline revolves around Angela Basset (who joins the cast in the next epi) having come to the ER years ago and Mark was the doctor. Supposedly. And as of right now, George/his agent/manager have said that "he's done that already" and won't come back (I guess he's too good for it?).

What's going to kill me is Abby leaving. She is by far my favorite character. Everything she's been through. Ugh. I'm going to cry harder than ever. And from the previews, two people (Abby and Haleh?) hug in front of a wall with all of the departed cast members name plates! I saw Chen, Weaver, and I think Greene, but there were a bunch more. Maybe Haleh is showing Abby how the nurses who have been there for ever never forget those who have left? I'll bawl if this scene is anything like I'm imagining.

OH! The Frank thing at the end (touching his shoulder and taking the shot). When Frank had the heart attack a couple seasons back, Pratt sat with him for a while. I can't remember if it was before his family got there or not, but Pratt definitely sat with Frank for quite a while.

I cried when mark died. Not cried... Sobbed. I miss that man. No one on er is my favorite anymore :( I miss wever

I'm with you, I've never liked Sam either. Of course had Sam died, it might not had been such a emotional show.

I think this was a very emotional show! I cried more with this show than I think any other. Wow!

Ooooh, me too. When Pratt was crying, that just got to me, you know that he knew what was probably going to happen.

It was a great show for the last season! I can't wait to see what else happens.

add me to the bawlers - and I kept flipping the clicker - couldnt watch it!!
George Clooney is promoting a new movie and was asked about ER - he said he wasnt asked - could be a ploy by George - cant imagine Dr Green being resurrected - but in flashbacks with Carter I could see that -

Abby and the "wall" yep, I think NBC is going for the tears - how can I watch? How can I not watch??

Didn't Sam say something along the lines of how his broken mandible probably nicked his carotid artery as an explanation for the massive lump of blood that appeared on his neck and caused the hemmoraging?

When Frank had his heart attack wasn't Pratt one of the reasons he lived? It's been too many years, but I do remeber that Pratt had a part in it.

I liked Pratt - he was normal to me. He had struggles in life, in love and in his family. He took risks to help others (the RX fiasco that almost cost him his license) and he was very caring. I just remember the role he played with Neela when Michael died.

I was shocked at the outcome, didn't think it would be him.

Archie is a goof ball and he has grown on me just like he has grown on the characters of the show.

I was sooooo happy to see Ray last night! I loved when he was on the show. Damn that new doctor (don't even know his name!) for showing up at Neela's house last night.

Two weeks until Dr Greene shows up....that should be interesting!
