Final season of ER - Dr Ross to make a guest appearance!!

I was sooooo happy to see Ray last night! I loved when he was on the show. Damn that new doctor (don't even know his name!) for showing up at Neela's house last night.

Two weeks until Dr Greene shows up....that should be interesting!

It was good to see Ray. I so wanted them to get back together.

Me too. Maybe Neela will take off and move to Louisiana to be with him.

Yes, he did but someone speculated that maybe the new ER chief (Angela Bassett) who keeps having a memory moment ~ they show her pondering her thought(s) ~ will finally show what happened to her son/family that they showed a picture of when she was at home and that Dr. Greene was the doctor attending to them (her family) :confused3

:sad1: I will be seriously sad to see this show end; it started when I was in grade 8 and I've watched it through junior high, high school, and university. I've turned 13, 16, 18 and 21 with this show, and have gone through tons of change, heartbreak, and lots of good times in my life. ER has always been my Thursday night escape, and I don't think any show will ever be able to replace it! Oh well; I've still got season 8 onward to buy on DVD;)

On her first episode, Angela Bassett's character mentions the Tsunami in Thailand. I was assuming that more would come out of this, that this was how her family died, and Greene died before the Tsunami happened. Anyway, it will be exciting to see this played out!!

OK, so I knew Pratt was going to die - I wasn't spoiled before the episode, but after the ending of the episode before the death one, DH asked who I thought would bite the big one and I said, "Pratt. He has everything all lined-up right now and everything is coming up roses for him. Sam's a mess. Can't kill a mess. Gotta kill someone on the upswing. More shocking and more viewer sympathy."

Ray's return - the prosthetic legs I was spoiled about, so I knew that was how he was walking around.

I started watching this season, but I am not nearly as committed as I was last year, or the year before. I will probably just keep up with the recaps and watch the "stunt episodes".

When did Sam get her son back? I must have missed something I am thinking, since I know that he is now back with her??

Tonight is the "return" of Dr Greene. I can't wait to see how it plays out!!!:cool1:

I am so looking forward to tonight! I watched some behind the scenes footage of the making of the episode on Youtube. Dr. Greene is not the only familiar face on tonight :cool1:

Man, I was bawling at tonight's show! I really felt for that new doctor (Banfield?)having lost her son so many years ago, but for me it was all about Dr. Greene. I miss him SO much on the show; he epitomized what it meant to be an ER doc. He wasnt't pompous or cocky, and carried himself with pride and determination. And when Dr. Romano was chewing him out...I was so glad to see him again too, even though he was a bit of a jerk.

Do I understand correctly that the whole thing with Greene trying to save Banfield's son happened during his own battle with cancer? I thought I heard Dr. Romano say something along the lines of "Why do you have cancer?".

Can't wait to see next week's show!

Does anyone know if Carter comes back at all? I've always loved Carter, I stopped waching when he left.

I'm so upset I forgot it was on tonight. I caught from 10:30 on. What a tear jerker.

Yes. Greene had to leave to get his chemo..

The former desk clerk and another regular, a nurse, was in this episode also.
