Polynesian with asthma

My wife has asthma (controlled by inhalers) that sometimes is mildly triggered when she does yard work. We have reservations at the Polynesian and looking at the videos we're concerned now. There is lush greenery all around (obviously part of the theme) but we're worried that may trigger an attack. No point staying there if we're going to avoid those areas - even a second floor balcony might be a problem sitting outside - and certainly outdoor bars etc.

Any feedback from people staying there who have asthma? Not concerned with the room (I've see suggestions about deep cleaning but she's never had a problem inside hotels)

Thanks -

If your wife's asthma gets triggered by freshly mowed grass or tropical flowers/foliage, then, yes, you may want to consider a different resort like the Contemporary Tower that would put your balcony far above such triggers.

If her asthma is triggered by pollens, those are everywhere.

Do you know what she is reacting to when doing yard work? Is it year-round or seasonal yardwork causing her asthma to be triggered? That info could be very helpful when considering the best time of year to visit as well as what resort would be best for her asthma.

If grass/trees/bushes/greenery triggers her asthma then I would avoid most Disney resorts.
I think your best bet could be the Contemporary ewpsically if you stay in the main building.
