Okay this was a bit of a bear. Heres how I did it rather than a million tiny groups, I went with more broad groups. For those of you who sent longer lists, they are very similar to each other and to mine, so I have a feeling our gaps are very similar and this will work out nicely.
There are a few non-attraction specific miscellaneous groups Cooling Off, Star Wars, Kid-specific, Transportation general and Monorail specific.
Then I made 2 groups per park (can add more if needed MK may need more groups than the others) for Under-represented attractions for each park one attraction per person with 5 people per group. I gave a suggestion of attractions that came up from different people but feel free to choose others. I thought this would be the easiest way to get the most people the most variety of topics. Then theres a group for shows and parades.
I included Disneyland Specific and Retired attractions groups if the interest is there. (Retired may be tricky if people have different needs Ill take feedback on that) And then theres a special group at the end.
I skipped characters, resorts and restaurants those will be covered in upcoming swaps.
I did put a few people in groups they expressed interest in. Please let me know if you need to be removed from any of those.
Once the number of groups is finalized, I will rename them with letters/numbers to make your labeling easier.
Check-in dates will be :
November 30
December 13
December 27
Mail By Date: January 3
Due Date: January 10
Step 1 Choose your topic. You may sign up for as many groups as youd like. These are single element groups choose one element from the list below. You do not need to tell me your specific elements unless it is a single topic group.
Step 2 - PM me with your DIS name, name, home address, email address, and phone numbers. Email and phone numbers will only be used to follow up if I have not heard from you. Check the progress thread for your status - it will be updated with check-in, ship info and received info. I will also provide my email address and phone number to all participants in case you need to reach me.
Step 3 After you create your items, package them individually in Ziploc bags and place all of your bags for each group in its own, larger (gallon size) Ziploc bag. Please be sure to package each group separately. Include your name, DIS name and group number on each larger bag. Include return postage for whichever method you prefer. If you want delivery confirmation, don't forget to send in the extra money for that as well as a completed d/c slip. Please dont send metered or click-it/ship-it postage some hostesses have had issues with these.
Step 4 Check in on the progress thread regularly. Check the thread for updates, receipt and shipping info. If I have not heard from you within a few days of the December 13 check-in, I will angel your spot.
Step 5 PM me if you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.
Please, no hand lettering on any items. You may use computer fonts, rub-ons, stamps, die cut letters, etc. Embellished means using brads, eyelets, charms, ribbon, 3D stickers (matted stickers are ok, too), clip art, or embossing. All elements should be double-matted and embellished unless otherwise noted!!
