I know this was geared to speedyf- but the info was probably from Mousesavers. I know that is where I have seen it-and it gives you what the discounts were and for who they were too! Speedy mentions that those were general public discounts, not AP or AAA, or florida, etc...
Lori
I did get those dates from Mousesavers. Unfortunately, Mousesavers does not keep track of exactly what discount was offered.
I did manage to search back through the Disboards and found this specific information about the general public package discount:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disney is offering discounted vacation packages for stays 1/1/07-3/8/07 (1/12/07-1/14/07 may be blacked out). The packages include discounted accommodations and Magic Your Way tickets, plus FREE Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More ticket upgrades. The ticket upgrades alone are worth $101.18 per person.
Some sample savings:
Two adults and two children (ages 5 & 7), preferred room at All-Star Sports, 6 nights/7 days (1/14/07-1/20/07), with Dining Plan - savings of $97 on the package, plus FREE ticket upgrades valued at $404.72 (Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More options added to all 4 tickets for no extra charge).
Two adults and a Junior (age 15), standard room at Port Orleans Riverside, 6 nights/7 days (2/18/07-2/24/07), with Dining Plan - savings of $175 on the package, plus FREE ticket upgrades valued at $303.54 (Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More options added to all 3 tickets for no extra charge).
Other resorts, room types and dates are available at varying savings.
You must book by 12/16/06. No group rates or other discounts apply. The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Tickets and options must be used within 14 days of first use. Water Parks subject to seasonal and weather closures.
Thanks to Small World Vacations for info.

So...based on the above information....if you were staying at a value resort during value season....you would get a free upgrade on your tickets from base to hopper, waterparks, and more....and you would get about a $16.16 discount on your room after tax per night.
Since a value resort is $82 per night before tax and $92.66 after tax....your after tax per night room rate would have been $76.50.
The AAA rate is $74.13 after tax....so, you would have paid and extra $2.37 per night (total) and would have received a park ticket upgrade.
Here is a link to the thread. There are a few other posts with specific discounts on specific rooms that you may be able to cross reference. I will try to dig up any other posts with discounts from that time period as well:
