Favorite memory in Disney World

I have 2 as well.

One, our family, decked out in our geeky matching shirts, getting all kinds of added attention (including front of the line escorts). It was YOAMD. Our kids were 21, 22, and 23 and they LOVED the idea of matching shirts.

Two, EVERY time I hear the music starting for Spectromagic. I hear it now....da, ta da, ta da.... Well, I guess you'd have to be in my head!

I love this thread....I'm tearing up reading people's stories!

One of mine is the first time we took DD she was 5. We were waiting for DS and DH to come out of Honey I Shrunk the Audience in the courtyard by the fountain at Epcot. DD had on her princess dress and danced for a LONG time, twirling around, singing. Each time she would finish a dance she would come over to me and say, "Mommy, that was Pocahontas" or "That was Ariel," each time thinking she had done a different dance with a different song. It was so absolutely sweet. And I have wonderful photos of her while she danced. princess:

The other great memory from that same trip is of my children's faces while we watched our first parade. They were completely enchanted and it was such a joy to watch them turn and yell out to me, "Mommy--here comes Cinderella" or whoever was next. It was completely real to them.

On that trip, DS did not want his photos taken with the princesses. He was 8. But later that summer we went to DL, just the kids and I, and he quietly came up to me and said, "Mommy, I guess I'll get my pictures with the princesses this time....." He didn't want to miss out again! :wizard:
