Today is Monday, I feel pretty good after my 3 miles on the treadmill.
I did walk/run it, but I am so happy I did 3!!!

I eat ok this weekend, had some Tostitos with salsa and sour cream,
and a few cookies.

I also did 30 mins on the elliptical on Saturday, and don't forget the fact that I have to burn off something chasing the girl around the house and cleaning up after them. Why is it they can destroy a room in 5 seconds flat?

No workout today, I have to go to the dentist. UGGGGGGG:scared1:

Weigh in is Wednesday, I have a dropped some more.

Well, here is my update, I am in an emotional funk. Not sure why, just feel BLAH,,, Ya know sometimes being a woman is not so much fun..
Anyway I weight in tonight, I don't feel like I will be down, but we will see.

Monday no workout, Tuesday 35 mins on the elliptical
Today 3 miles on the treadmill in 41.30, I am very happy about that however, I am very worried about my knee. It hurts so so bad. I know I need to rest, but I feel like I am doing so good with working out I don't want to stop and to be totaly honest, I know I don't have the will power to eat better if I am not working out. I am stuggling with the points for food as it is now.

I think I just need a few stiff glasses of wine and that will make me feel better HA HA!!!

Just eat Steak, & Shimp, Yummy! DH cooked, oh and he mopped the floor too:cool1:

Workouts:
Thursday 100 squats, DH stated that I am not doing the correct. Whatever!
Friday, Busy Day, DD had a friend over, I did not feel like doing anything, but I did do a quick 15 min on the elliptical, and 50 push ups (on my knees)
Saturday, Treadmill 2.5 in 30 min, I just could not the last 1/2 mile
Sunday (today) 2.5 in 38min outside, I can't get over how much harder it is outside. I so respect the woman and men, than can do 10, 12, 15 miles outside in the cold.

My eating was not great this weekend, had to dip into my activity points. But this is a Marothon to weight loss, not a sprint right?
 
You had a great last few days! I almost always use my WPA and APs, FWIW.

I know those BLAH feelings...I could NOT figure out why I was there last week too...I ended up getting my period a week early...go figure. Stupid perimenopause...

Hope your blahs are chased away soon - doing a great job on the workouts - but rest too...also do some gentle stretching...could be your shoes, or possibly look at IT band issues- and see if that sounds like what's bothering you. it's a large band that goes from hip to knee and causes many people issues

Ice your knee, maybe some Advil to help any swelling - remember to rest your muscle groups between use, so if you work certain muscles one day, the next day work a different group...rest days in between running will really help your legs recover

hope you get your blahs under control...oh for me, no period for 3.5 months would be HEAVEN....pure heaven.
 
I was taking LoEstrin and once I started to take that I have not had my (.) again, so I stopped taking it all together. UGGGG


I weigh in tonight.

So we left off Sunday with a 2.5 run/walk outside, with steak for V day dinner (yummy)

Monday dinner was very very bad about 20 points. I did not work out, so while watching the Olympics I did 100 squats and 50 pushups.

Tuesday Nothing at all

Wednesday, so far I have done 9 mins on the elliptical (the baby got up at 5:30AM and I had to get of the elliptical.)
Before I weigh in tonight, I hope to get a run in or at least something.

Ya know, for those who may be reading this, I want to say that Yes, Weight Watchers is great, working out is great, I sm getting so skinny, but it is not happening like that.

I do like Weight Watcher for one main reason, I does make you aware of how much you are eating, I am grateful for that. But there are day, when I am so hungry I could eat the left over cheerios that are on the floor in my mini van :scared1:

I do LOVE the work outs, I LOVE the feeling when I'm done and my legs are tight and I really feel like I did something,

The main issue I have is that I would think I would see bigger #'s on the scale. I have not drank any soda at work at all, I did have some on the weekend but that's it. Took the kids to Mc Donald's and I got a Grilled Chicken Salad. I am making major changes, but nothing is changing in the scale or the way my cloths fit. So Frustrating, I hope to see some change soon, I need to see some changes to keep me going.

Ok, don't tell my DH, but my goal is to be thin enough to want to wear a black dress by our anniversary (oct) .

There is not much more to say other than I need to get back in gear.

I did run/walk 2 miles on the treadmill yesterday in 27 mins
 
Don't worry about such a small gain. It happens and you are right...just move on and step it up. You'll probably see a big loss next week.
 
I'm sorry it's not working the way you had hoped...that happens sometimes. Sometimes our bodies hold onto that darn weight and it's so frustrating.

Not sure if you read my first post on my journal-- i worked with a trainer for a full year, ate clean for months...did everything right - and COULD NOT LOSE WEIGHT...my body had some issues -- sometimes it takes awhile for things to kick in...it is very frustrating, but just know if you make good choices most of the time - good things will start to happen eventually...

...also check in with your doctor too and check things like thyroid, adrenal gland, hormones, insulin resistance, etc...

what worked for everyone else did NOT work for me for many years...you need to figure out what works for your body - thankfully i think my metabolism is finally kicking back on - (and yes, i've been on meds for 20 years for my metabolism, this isn't a new thing)

So my update,
Thurday 2.6 mile outside after work in about 37 mins, I just can seen to go any faster outside

Friday, 20 min elliptical, busy day with girls and work

Saturday, Jillian 30 min shred. That was a good work out

Sunday NOTHING

Monday 30 min on elliptical

Tuesday Monring 2 miles on TM in 27 min

I feel good today, I know I did better on my points this past week, so weigh in tomorrow should go ok.

Now this coming weekend I have a party with drinking and a lunch date with a friend. I will try to choose better things but I plan on trying 2 a day work outs instead.

For expample, tonight I hope to do 20 mins at least on the elliptical
tomorrow morning I hope to do TM then elliptical again at night.

and so on..

Feeling a little better and no so much blah this week, Its it wonderful to be a woman with hormone issues!
