So glad to hear you are doing so well. I have to tell you, the WISH Boards and WW have been invaluable to me. I don't know which one is more helpful. I've learned so much about healthy eating from WW, and I get so much support from my Dis friends. I enjoy going to the WW meetings to hear from others. My leader is ok, but it's the most convienent meeting so I'll stick to her. Plus, she's great one-to-one. I hope you find WW as beneficial as I have.

I'm doing really well. Thanks for asking. I hope everyone else is too.
 
Great job on moving, and glad you were able to work the food/soda into your WW pts. Yes, I'm doing the Princess 1/2 in March - in Disney.

CC, I am so so thankful to folks like you here on dis, I know if I have not found WISH and Dis, I think I would still be in my self made rutt, and not doing anything about it. With the help of WISH, I am not doing somthing about it.

So Monday no workout, but I was under on points, the baby got sick after the sitters, and she was up sick all night, Called off work today, took her to the doc, she has a "stomach bug" that is going around. And some swollen lymp nodes (sp?) so they gave her antibiotics just in case, (she is very prone to ear infections) Can't get her to drink much so I have been given her ice popsicals. I hope to get on the elliptical tonight after dinner.

I also really really want to get a run in tomorrow before work, hope that the high for the run will help me get through the day at work and dealing with my boss HA HA!!!!

I'm sorry to hear your poor sweet baby is sick :( that sucks. It's so hard to see our little ones feeling so icky and vulnerable.

Did Elliptical for 15min tonight
But DH had an old friend over tonight when I got home and they made, steak, salad, baked potato. It was so good, but there went my 4llbs HA HA
 
Happy FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Last night I FINALLY got my butt back on the treadmill. 2 miles in under 30min (29:58) I wanted to do more but my legs did not agree.

I sure feel good after I am done with a run,!!!!

I busy weekend, if eveyone stays healthy we have DD's school event tonight and Disney On Ice tomorrow. Do you think they will have weight watcher food there (ha ha) I plan to be up early tomorrow to run. No work out planned for today. Maybe 15 mins on the elliptical when I get home before we head to school.

Not doing well with points this week, but this is not a sprint right? This is a llife change, so I have loose while I have "LIFE" going on. Cuz lets face it, there will always be birthday partys, there will always be plays, and things to do. So if I can still loose, if only just a little. I am happy. It took me 8 years to gain all this weight.

Had a fun weekend, but ate way to many points, Way Way Over on Points
I had pop, both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday I did do a quick 15 min work out on the ellipitcal
Sunday I did NOTHING! Did my shopping, and laundry. Turkey Taco's for dinner.

Today is a new day, I got up before work and Ran my 2miles in 29:00!! :cheer2: I hope to try for 3 miles by the end of the week. I am going to try to add a mile every month from now til the Princess in 2011
Thats doable right?

I feel like I have eaten well today, but I am still at high points, already at 20
had Lean Cuisine for lunch, protein bar for breakfast, carrots for snack,
a had full of nuts, that was what was high no points.


Some day, Some day, I will get it together!

Its Wedensday
I have to weigh in tonight :scared1:

So Monday was 2miles, felt good
Yesterday, nothing to crazy with kids ect.
Today I wanted to go for 2.5 but only did 1.5, my knee could not do any more, I am going to try to do another 1.5 when I get home

(please note I am doing a walk/run, more run than walk, but still walking a bit)

Having a hard time with food. I am so hungry, today i had a chicken breast for breakfast in hopes that all that protein would fill me up, well as i sit her at my desk (not doing much work :rolleyes1) I am starving.

Im a 34 year old mom of 2, I beat smoking, I labored for 3 day with one child, Csection the other, delt with DH loosing his job for 9 month, and many many many more issues, WHY WHY WHY can't i beat the food?????

Why is food suck a big part of my life?

Will there ever be a time when I am not hungry. A girl at work has grapes and celery for lunch. how do you do that? I want to be full on just that?

I do a run/walk too. I have a training program out of Marathoning for Mortals..it's a great program and has really helped my endurance. That small recovery between is wonderful and allows you to extend your endurance. Right now I do two runs where I work on speed (I'm SLOW) - and one long endurance run (more run/walk - slower pace, for longer mileage)

HAAA, the comment about why can't i beat food...i've asked myself that many times. Listen - we all have our problem in life...could be something worse - this is ours. :) We'll learn to beat it...right? One day at a time...

Food probably became a comfort to you at some point. In my family - if we did good, we celebrated with ice cream...if we had a sad moment, mom cheered us up with ice cream....at dinner, had to finish my plate, etc...as an adult, mom no longer fixing healthy dinners, made my own fast/unhealthy choices-- things compound...tiny, tiny choices add up over time. You just undo it one tiny block at a time :) Unbuild the food wall that was built over the years

Hi Deb, you said it, food is a comfort for me. same thing, sad.. have treat, happy... have a treat, OMG I think I am doing the same thing to my girls. But When they ask for a treat, I ask them what they had that was healthy today, and they see me work out, so they have to do their work out. HA HA!

I can empathize. Food was a comfort for me as well. I'm learning to make healthy swaps, like cake made with diet soda.
 
Well I weighed in, and I am down 1.4:cheer2:

bad news, I have to give up 1 point a day now that I have lost 5lbs

CC, I have been eating the WW snack bars and they do help with the sweet tooth, and they are only one point

ALSO!!! I came home from work and did another 1.5 miles, but this time I did it outside

Congrats on the loss and thanks for the suggestion re: WW snack bars. I have them, but never eat them. Will definitely change that.
