Looking very forward to hearing about the EE5K when you all get back! Sounds like a lot of fun!
ChocoKat - Glad you were able to do such a great time and without any major pain. That's terrific!
Sounds like everyone had a great weekend and got in whatever training was possible. I did my second workout of this week at the local junior high school track. I was amazed how many people were down there on a Saturday morning, walking, jogging, marathon training... really kind of cool. I made it through (although I was getting really tired of my interval alarm going off, telling me it was time to run again!) and realized that when you run on an actual track, it's really dirty! Dirty shoes, dirty socks, dirty pants leg. The gym is so much cleaner.
I think on Wednesday evening I might try to swing by the local running store and get fitted for a real pair of running shoes that will correct for whatever weird things my feet do while I run. That way, I'll be certain I've got the right gear and won't be likely to end up hurting myself. But, so far so good. I'm just hoping I can keep this up. Every time I'm in the process of running, I doubt whether I can make it all the way with this. But, every time I'm done running, I realize it wasn't really that bad.
