FastPass+ multiple parks and add on FastPasses coming soon!

I don't believe this has been posted yet but Disney just sent an e-mail to travel agents stating:

"And coming soon, your Clients will have the ability to add and enjoy additional FastPass+ selections on the day of their visit, after they have redeemed their first three selections. In addition, your Clients will be able to use their FastPass+ service at more than one park per day. Please note these features will be available soon."

So, it appears parkhopping on FastPass+ is coming soon as well as the ability to "add" (whether that ability will be included in admission it doesn't say) additional FastPasses after the first three selections have been used.

Yes, I found the other post after posting this. The title wasn't overly revealing so I missed it. However, I don't think the blog post they linked to confirmed the parkhopping feature that is coming as well.

Usually when Disney sends these things to travel agents it means the change is happening reasonably soon so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Also, I've gotten E-ticket FP+ selections in the afternoon at MK but I'm sure they are not plentiful! I'm thinking one strategy might be to do your rope drop rides, then immediately ride your pre-scheduled FP+ selections, then get an additional FP+ selection ASAP. That certainly front-loads your day!

It does sound like a promising change. But they will have to multiply the number of FP+ kiosks in the parks. It won't work to have ridiculous, slow moving queues at the kiosks.

Are FP+ now available at 180 days? Just read a blog (a travel agent) alleging that but have not seen it anywhere else.

As of now Fast Pass plus is still only available at 60 days out for on-site guests.

I would love if if this was true although it raises some issues.

1. What will be available the day off? The headliners are already booking out. What will be available mid afternoon for your fourth and fifth FP choices?

2. Will this mean people have to change the way they are touring? The earlier you could make your fourth FP+ choice, the better chance you have at getting a worthwhile choice. So will it be better to make all your FP choices for before midday so you can then make your fourth and fifth choices earlier. It will also mean the earlier you can make your fourth FP+ for, the sooner you can make your fifth FP+ and so on, meaning more FP+ times.

3. If you can only use kiosks, rather than the phone app, they are going to need more kiosks. The lines are crazy long at most of them now.
