FastPass+ and Renting DVC Points

Hi There,

I apologize if this isn't the best place to ask this question. Our family has rented DVC points on several occasions, but not since the FastPass+ and MagicBands started. If we rent points, do you know if we will have the option of getting them? If so, how?

fast Pass is based on your park ticket, has nothing to do with resort reservations, except you can pick fast pass 60 days in advance if you stay on property compare to 30 days in advance if you stay off property.

I was confused because it states on the WDW resort homepage that FastPass+ and Magic Bands are available for all people that stay at the WDW resorts. When we purchase passes on the Disney website (when we rent points), Disney doesn't know that we are staying onsite. Does everyone get FastPass+ now?

When you rent points, you link the reservation number to MDE and that allows you to get MBs. You then buy tickets and link them, allowing you to book FP+ 60 days out. But, yes, as of March 31 (I think that's the date) everyone who has tickets linked will be allowed to book FP+. 60 days for onsite, 30 days for off site.
