Fast Pass + Parades

Is it worth it to get Fast Pass+ for the evening parade in Magic Kingdom? Does it give you a better view? Or should we plan to just arrive in the regular areas early like everyone else? I know once you have used your three initial Fast Pass+ options you can get more, so I'd hate to use one initial so late in the day if it won't be worth it.

Let me know if you've done this one before and if it was worth it or if you were disappointed. Thanks!!

We tried to use one this past Saturday. It was for the 9:00 parade. The area was in the hub facing the castle. Would have been great for the parade and was great for the castle show. It was terrible for Wishes. We checked all day Friday and couldn't find anything for the 9:00 parade. Checked again Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m. and it came up for our party sizes. The downside....the parade was cancelled. That is the gamble with picking that FP+.

I was on site for sevaral parades during the Disney Side 24 Hour day and I really didn't think there was a single parade that I couldn't get a decent viewing location just by walking around and finding one.

Unless a particular parade is your tippy top priority for some reason, I simply cannot fathom using a FP+ slot for one.

Ok and we're going in September so crowds should be relatively low. Thanks for the advice I think we will just show up and find a good place
