Fantasmic & MYW Dining

Help!!! I have read several posts concerning the use of MYW Dining with the Fantasmic Dinner Package and I'm still confused. Can you or can you not use a TS for the dinner package? Or will it stricty depend on your server?

Any feedback is appreciated.

I spoke wiht a CM at Disney Dining tonight and asked that very question. "Officially" the package is not part of the MYW Dining. I have read posts in here that said that the server counted it toward the dining plan. The CM I had on the phone said that you could visit the restaurant for the MYW dining, but the package was separate. So, who knows what happens when you get there.

We were at Disney last week and had booked the Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose's. When I called Disney Dining I was told that the MYW dining package would cover the Fantasmic reservations. However, I was a little wary from reading the experiences on this board. What happened with us was that they seated us with the blue Fantasmic cards, we were given the special Fantasmic menu used at the restaurant. However, when I told our server we were on MYW, he said that technically Fantasmic was not covered. He said we could still have the tickets, but we would have to order from the regular menu. That's what we did, but it seemed kind of silly to me. The Fantasmic menu had price fixed meals that seemed to cost less than what we ordered. Our server was great, though. He gave us the tickets with no problem and also packed our desserts to go since it was getting late and we had to hurry to the special Fantasmic entrance.
