EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

I *think* slim but I don't have any official insight, just what I've seen on the boards. Pretty sure BC has the CL renovation happening at that time. We're at YC the next week and the entire hotel is sold out the next 2 weeks (Both CL & non-CL). Based on the BC/YC board it seems like they are pretty much that way for the middle 3 weeks of October (also probably why the resorts are blacked out for the DP offer).

You might try BWI instead for that timeframe.

I've been checking YC/BC for the last 6 months trying to get in , but Star Wars Weekends makes it impossible to find availability.

We've booked a stay at the Beach Club, Oct 11-17, and had to settle for a non-club level room. From the information I received, both Beach Club and Yacht Club CL rooms are sold out.

What are the chances of CL rooms becoming available before our trip, and how do we make sure we're able to get one, if it does come available?

Thanks.

The past 4 years, I've changed our October reservations countless times between the three resorts based on better views or CL coming available, especially as it gets closer to the 45 days, AND when Disney releases their fall deals. I'm pretty sure a lot of people book to book, holding out hope that deals will come out and then they change ;)
I know it sounds crazy, but I would check weekly online (or call if I had an unadvertised promo like BB)and jump right on anything I saw that met what we wanted.
That being said, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Hopefully the Beach Club refurb doesn't screw us all up this fall! :crazy2:

Thank you everyone for all of your help surrounding the BW Garden Suites! We definitely don't mind walking - it's just nice to walk out of the elevator, grab a beer and be in your room all within a minute. DH's original "requests" for this trip were CL and Boardwalk view, the view being something we've never had in all of our Epcot resort stays. But after looking at some pictures and thinking about how "needed" this vacation is going to be for him, a little peace and quiet off in those suites might just be what we want :thumbsup2
I am however, notorious for changing our reservation at least once! :rotfl2:

Definitely not crazy! We've done this many times! Most recently, I booked a short stay for March 2014 at POR, then switched to Poly. I really wanted CL (garden view) at Poly, but it was not available with the AP discount. Some days, it wasn't available at all - with or without a discount. I just kept checking and eventually, it appeared! I called immediately to change our reservation. Definitely keep checking!

I knew I wasn't crazy :lmao:
Sometimes it's nice to hear it though!!

Here's another photo of the outside of a garden suite at the Boardwalk:

Many of them have their own little gate and garden - so cute! And inside I believe all (or at least some!) of them are split level - there's a couch and sitting area on the first floor and you go upstairs to the bedroom.

I have stayed twice at the BWI CL and plan on staying again in Sept. but have yet to figure out a good way to go down to the main clown pool without walking through the lobby. I'm sure I'm missing something but how does everyone do it? I don't mind going out to the pool through the lobby but when your dripping wet it seems a little odd.

I would always get confused by this too! The Boardwalk is shaped kinda like a big spider with all the wings coming out, so there are multiple outdoor courtyards...but some of them only connect by going back inside through the hallways! The courtyard on the Inn side doesn't have an outdoor walkway to the main pool area on the Villas side...the stairs by the Bellevue lounge are what we use too. :thumbsup2

OMGosh you guys would not even believe how many times I check availability! That's the main reason I became a travel agent :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: It is down right embarrassing.

Then you know the feeling when you finally get the ADR, the resort reservation, etc. after checking multiple times a day. You know, the "yay!" and then the "now what?" :) It's so hard to wait until July to book for January!

I'm already booked for January, we rented DVC points for marathon week. We're in a 2 bedroom at SSR. That's the furthest we've ever been from the race but I don't run so it's OK with me. LOL :upsidedow

I'm contemplating where to stay next after our June trip ... we're either doing late October or Christmas. We always talk ourselves out of Christmas because we go in January and it seems too close. But I'm OBSESSED with spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on property. We've never done it. :goodvibes Of course October is great too, I think I'd be super depressed if we missed F&W, we haven't missed a year in a long time. DH and I thought maybe a long weekend in October just the 2 of us, then save the bigger trip for Christmas. It's hard to even think about it because I'm obsessed with our June trip at the moment.

We left for Disney on Christmas Eve when I was a teenager and I LOVED that trip. Highly recommend it!!! I think I'd stay at GF for a Christmas trip. I love WL, and want to return to try CL there, but GF is so convenient. Because we're a family of five, the cost between the two isn't that much different (we'd need a deluxe CL room at WL, but could book standard CL at GF.)

I can understand your obsession with the June trip!!! So many new things popping up for Star Wars weekend! Our teens really want to go, and now our youngest is completely obsessed with Star Wars - he's the only one of the three who has not yet done the JEDI training. (Anyone there on January 10? Because that's the exact day he will do JEDI training for the first time - which is what he is telling everyone.) I'd book a last-minute Star Wars weekend trip, but we don't have a clear weekend (although I could clear one up, if necessary!) and my husband's Disney tolerance is decreasing. Really looking forward to your live report!

Just posted a new blog review of our Beach Club club level stay! :)

I started reading your review and it looks wonderful! But I had to stop. I was supposed to be at a conference, staying at BC and actually at SAB at this very moment drinking my sunken treasure!!! But there was just too much going on at home with the kids this week, so I had to cancel. :sad1: I'm getting texts and messages from clients who are there and just so sad to miss it! So I'll get back to it after the conference is over!!

I managed to grab the Sci-fi and Hollywood&Vine Star Wars meals but couldn't get the Feel the Force package! :worried: I've been checking obsessively! It should be a fun trip. I added Harambe Nights as well which I am SUPER psyched about. :thumbsup2

I am soooo sorry about your conference. I would be sad too, I can't stand it when people go to WDW without me. I get horribly jealous and angry. LOL :lmao: That sounds so ridiculous considering how many trips we take, but I can't help it. I won't be satisfied until I live there permanently.

As of right now we (my mom and I with my husband coming down later) are booked for 10 nights at the Boardwalk Inn in a deluxe CL during the food and wine festival. Now I am second guessing my plans.....

I kinda sorta want to do a split stay...is that crazy? Originally I booked a 6 night stay via a bb offer and then decided that I should lengthen it and I called the bounceback line everyday for 3 days until they were able to book it for me (I was prepared to call for much longer) Now that I have it longer I am thinking about trying to book the first 3-4 day at the Polynesian CL or Animal Kingdom CL.

Any opinion on what I should do?

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer! We've stayed at BWI CL, Poly CL and AKL (but not CL there.) Given those experiences, and the fact that you're staying 10 nights, I'd do a Poly CL/BWI split. (In fact, we have done a Poly/BWI split, and it's our favorite split so far!) It's great to divide the time between an MK area resort and an Epcot area resort for both variety and ease of transportation in both areas. We tend to spend far more time at MK when in the MK area and more time at Epcot/DHS when in the Epcot area. (And for our family of 5, it's worth the transfer, which is super easy when Bell Services takes care of the luggage.)

Of course, Poly will be under construction, so that may be an issue for you in October. If you don't mind that, I'd go with Poly. But if the construction reports aren't looking good, AKL is a great choice.

Funny you should mention these three resorts, because last year, we stayed 8 nights and booked a Poly/BWI/AKL split. Once we were at BWI, we just couldn't leave. So we ditched the AKL part and stayed at BWI for the rest of the trip. But that wouldn't be a problem if you stayed at the non-BWI resort first!

Off tomorrow for a couple of nights WL CL followed by another few at GF RPC, sooooo excited :cool1:

If anyone would like photos/info please let me know :goodvibes

Have a great trip :cool1::cool1:. RPC is my favorite, followed very closely by WL CL. Any pics would be great as I never get tired of seeing pics of either one them :goodvibes.

We have done split stays before and loved them. I usually book the first hotel based on my dining reservations....(not that I am food absessed lol) and then swith to the boardwalk. It is just that I love that particular class of room at the boardwalk so much, but I worry I will get tired of it and then I will wish that i had done a split.

It really is a toss up between the Poly and AK because I have Ohana reservations on Friday and a Keys to the Magic tour on Monday, but I have the Animal Trek tour on Saturday and Boma for Saturday night. (and my mom loves the CL at AK, she says it is the best of the ones she has stayed at)

Of course we want photos! Surprise us!:goodvibes

LOL no problem :thumbsup2

I'm really looking forward to WL CL as it's my first stay there, I intend to 'visit' the Territory Lounge for an hour or 2. RPC is the icing on the cake for me, I've only stayed once before 7 years ago but I've fond memories :)

We are going at the end of July and staying for 9 nights. We are splitting our stay with 4 nights at GF and 5 nights BWI. We've done a split before and it really is very easy to do.

You might want to read up on the construction at the Poly before you make up your mind on which resort to do the split.

Happy planning.:goodvibes
