Would love to go back to Hawaii again and would love to:

Go to a luau~like we did on our honeymoon

Sit on the beach and watch the gorgeous Hawaiian sunset and try and hear the sizzle as the it hits in the ocean like the tour guide told us it does.
(I'm such a tourist!!:confused3:rotfl:)

Visit Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center~a place to learn about the island culture and see traditional island dancing

My first 3 things would be to scuba dive your warm waters (yahoo!), visit Mauna Loa, and see her in all her volcanic splendor, and watch a Hawaiian sunset. Have a great day!

Which luau did you go to? Did you try all of the different Hawaiian foods?
I have never heard a sizzle, or knew that. Interesting.

Just a question, but why Mauna Loa?

The reason for Mauna Loa, was because I knew you had a very active volcano, but couldn't remember the name off hand, so went with it instead. I should have said Kilauea...yep the baking binge gave me a mind F*RT. Have a great evening!

Awww ic now. :goodvibes

If you go to Mauna Kea, there is snow during the winter months, and sometimes on Mauna Loa as well.

How long have you been married for?

For those of you who are not married....If you were to get married, where would you like to have your honeymoon at?

Yikes, I have loads to answer. I have been too busy finishing my 2007 trip report. Only took 19 months!

What is the last five things you ate?

Branflakes (breakfast)
Fruit oatcakes (supper)
Orange (supper)
Stovies (dinner)
Homemade soup (lunch)

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what would you eat to survive?

I might go hungry as I don't like seafood. I'd have to live on fruits and veggies and any red meat I caught. :scared1:

What three things do you eat that other people might think is disgusting or they would not think of trying?

I honestly can't think of any but my DH like proper haggis (I only eat the veggie kind) and black pudding (it has pigs blood in it). Yuk!

Are you a scrapbooker? If so what type-digital, albums...?

No, but my mum and daughter are. I am always impressed with their work.

If you were to come to Hawaii, what three things would you like to do first?

I am sorry to say I do not know much about Hawaii so I guess I would knock on your door and ask you to be me tour guide. ;)

How long have you been married for?

I've been married for 13 years on 28th May. I was 19 and DH was 22. We have been together since we were 16 and 19. I am lucky to have found my soul mate so young. :lovestruc

Just celebrated 23 years on May 3rd, yes I was married on my birthday.

WAY back when we were on our honeymoon a tour guide was talking about what not to miss and he was saying you shouldn't miss a Hawaiian sunset because it is spectacular and as the sun slips into the water you can swear you can hear it "sizzle"!! We all laughed and that night as we were returning from our tour we stood on the beach and watched the sunset and if you tried real hard you could almost swear you could hear the "sizzle"!! Talk about the power of suggestion!! :rotfl:That is most likely only told to gullible tourists!!;):lmao::rotfl:
We went to the luau at our hotel called The Outrigger right on Waikiki Beach!! it was so long ago I don't remember all the things we had to eat But I do remember having traditional luau fare like roast pig and think there also was turkey as well! The pina coladas were to die for, made with fresh coconut and they had vanilla ice cream on the bottom!! you could easily gain 20 lbs from them alone !:scared1: Yes I did try poi! That was the first and last time I ate it!! I guess you have to acquire a taste for it!!!??!!:confused3 If I went back I would definitely love to do a luau again for the entertainment alone!!:thumbsup2

My DH and I will be:bride: married :groom: 24 years on Sept.21st!! We have been together for 29yrs!! Wow that's more than half our lives!!:laughing: But we are true soul mates and I couldn't have been luckier to find such a terrific person to spend the rest of my days with!!:hug:

I'm not, but I want to be. I've been saving stuff (mostly from my last few Disney trips), and I've bought some stuff too. My sister said she'd help, but we're both so busy, we haven't had a chance to sit & do it!

I'm not married, but I think I'd like to go on an Alaskan cruise for my honeymoon.

I have been married 8 years as of April 28th. We honeymooned in Cozumel for 2 weeks. It was 1 month after 9/11, and the island was a ghost town. Our wedding and honeymoon were 6 months apart due to the major expenses involved. Have a great day everyone!
