No, no big parties. I'd rather just have a nice evening with a few friends/family.

I threw my own 30th and had a 50's theme.

For John's 40th i just did a BBQ, but had make your own sundaes which were a hugh hit.

For my 40th no theme, had it at a local fire company and invited the fireman who were working to enjoy the food and cake.

No big parties for me..............I don't like them.

I have thrown lots for other people though.............always themed.

My friends gave me a surprise sleep over party when I was 13. I think about 10 girls were invited. No theme to that one. But for my 16th birthday they tried giving me an upside down party lol. That only had about 5 girls.
For my 20th birthday, I invited 20 friends to join me ina limosine ride around the city and then we went out for cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.

If you are at home, and it starts to rain, what do you usually end up doing? Ex. cleaning, read, watch t.v. .......?

nothing different than when it doesn't rain............guess it is from all those years living in WA

Nothing different, unless of course its a major storm, then i would turn off whatever i had on. tv, stero, computer.

Hmm....if it's raining, and not too cold, my DSs and I will go play in the puddles. If it's really storming, we'll just find some indoor activities, like reading or playing a game.

Like the others, I don't do anything different for the most part, but a rainy day does bring out my creative side so you'll probably see me scrapbooking or some other craft.

People watch, i don't swim unless its in a pool.

I prefer beaches in winter when it is cold.
Then it is just walk and look at things.
Usually only a few people around.

i LOVE the beach! I usually tan, boogie board if the waves are good, lay down on my beach towel and read a book, people watch, and take a nap!

The water here is usually too cold to swim in, but we'll take walks and get our feet wet. Since I have two active DSs, we're usually playing with sand toys, or looking for treasure or dinosaur bones in the sand.
