Here is another question of the day for today.

Pasta, pasta, pasta....


What is your most favorite type of pasta? How do you like it cooked-fully cooked, al dente....what type of sauce do you prefer? What sides do you like-garlic bread, salad, bread sticks.....? Do you like to put cheese on top of your pasta?

Spaghetti (cooked al dente) with a meat sauce (but not a lot of sauce), lots of cheese on top. Side would be garlic bread with extra garlic.

It is how the pasta is cooked, so it is firm, with a bit of a bite still, and not soft.

Cooking the pasta just shy of being done, it still has a bit of texture to it.

Cooking pasta until al dente is especially good when you have to cook it twice, like when I make mac and cheese or lasagna. By not cooking until completly done, when baking it the noodles do not become mushy.

It would depend on how well I knew the family and was the friend a good friend or just an aquaintace.

I LOVE pasta. Lasagna yum! Tortellini with Pesto Sauce yum! Actually, I made the tortellini with pesto last night for dinner.

I would bring just a sympathy card for the family and that's it.

As a child, were you a member of any club or organization?

Not when I was really young. In high school though, I was a member of Future Educators of America and Fratelli D'Italia (an Italian Club).

I was a member of the choir at my church from age 6, then I was a member of a school orchestra and chorus from 5th grade - 12th.

When I was young, very young, we were always forming clubs. And in elementary school I was in the Bluebirds one year.

In middle school, I was in choir.

In high school, I was in a church choir, a member of the FFA, Mu Alpha Theta, the Tribe and the National Honor Society. I also played on a church softball team.

Susan, I was a Bluebird, too! haha I "flew up" to Campfire girl, then quit. You don't hear much about the Campfire girls these days.

We always had some kind of club in our neighborhood when we were young. School-band, majorettes, NHS. We were all in the Ski Club because they had good trips to a nearby resort...very few of us actually skied.

Not sure if you would consider it a club, but when very young I belong to a group for children of veterans.
