ou don't hear much about the Campfire girls these days. :goodvibes

Never heard of them before. However the name is used in the Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb. :teeth:

We always had some kind of club in our neighborhood when we were young. School-band, majorettes, NHS. We were all in the Ski Club because they had good trips to a nearby resort...very few of us actually skied. :rotfl2:

Ohhh the trouble you could have gotten into, since the adults were probably on the slopes with the kids who did ski. :rolleyes1

Today is my son's birthday, so here is a QOTD for parents out there.

What do you miss most about your child not being a baby anymore?

Aww, happy birthday to your son!! :yay: I miss the baby smell, and all the newness that comes along with having a small baby. But then I can just use their old special baby wash on them every now and again and enjoy all the newness of them growing up! It took me a long time to get to this place of not totally missing everything about having a small baby, so I really just try my best to love the stages that they're at now.

Happy Birthday Brandon!

Oh, I miss the belief in Santa, fairies, etc. I miss the little arms around my neck. I miss the look of wonder on their faces. I miss so much.......

Okay, so I am in the stationary exchange, and was wondering....what type of items do you like to receive that are "stationary" like items if you were in this exchange? What items would you not use?

I am trying to get ideas.

Note cards, paper clips, good writing pens, stickers and/or cute post it notes. Stationery is fine but it's not something I would use as often as note cards.

Note cards, pens-I have alot of them, but for some reason keep buying more, Sharpies, cute/pretty stationary.

So today was not a good afternoon. Not feeling appreciated, over doing things and exhausting myself, stressed..... so today's QOTD is-

What sort of things would you do for a friend who is having a bad day?

I would take her to lunch (see you should live closer :cutie:).

Sorry you are having a bad day, hope it gets better.

I would say either a lunch out, or perhaps some take out brought to her house along with some magazines and m&m's. So sorry you had a bad day - I hope today turns out better! If you lived closer, I'd be on my way with a pizza and some chocolate. :grouphug:

I all depends on what kind of bad day it is. Lunch sounds good though or just listening to her vent.

That's the spirit! Sometimes thinking that tomorrow will be better is what gets me through the day.
