Every ride in a day

I'm sure you guys have a solid plan put together already, but let me throw in DisneyWaitTimes.com as an additional resource you can use. If you visit the site from your Android phone, it will give you a link to the app, which doesn't have the 2-4 minute delay that the website has.

Good luck!!

Any chance you'll have an iPhone app out there before my Dec 10 trip?

Awesome! Look forward to watching your progress. . . We did everything on your list with just a few duplicates and eliminating the railroad, which was closed on our trip. . . ?We did it in SIX DAYS and thought we had a productive trip :worship: good luck!

Probably not :(

I would have to buy a Mac to do development on and that's a steep barrier to entry for me.

If, however, the opportunity arises where someone would like to donate one, it would be my number one priority as there is a huge part of the market that I'm not reaching ;)

If you lived in North Alabama I'd let you borrow mine :rotfl2:

Second, Why? I mean it just sounds crazy. :confused3. Will you actually have fun?

Many people do have fun doing this sort of thing. In fact another message board, micechat.com, hosts an annual "Gumball Rally", usually at Disneyland (but I think they've done it at WDW too), that is actually a contest to see who can ride the most of a list of rides. I don't think they generally do ALL attractions, but they come pretty close. I volunteered as a roaming "spotter" one year, to make sure people were following the rules, and everyone I saw who was participating was laughing and having a great time.

And let's face it. A buddy (or solo) trip is VASTLY different from a family trip with all those interpersonal issues, responsibility for tantrums and keeping people fed, etc etc etc. With buddy and solo trips, when the goal is to go on many attractions, you can move a LOT faster than you can with family trailing you, and do a heck of a lot more things.

Good luck!! I'll definitely be following along on Saturday!

We are dipping our toes in the kiddie pond in January and hitting all four parks in one day. Hardly impressive but don't normally spend too much time in the parks so it's a big deal for us.

Have fun!

Johde, you didn't rough things up at all. You have just used some good reasoning to think about what to do. Probably has something to do with you planning out your own day. However, some things we have to worry about are things like Tom Sawyer, which opens at 10 but closes at 5:00 and the Safari, which closes at 4:45. That's not counting Main Street Transportation, which is only supposed to run until 10:15.

So you're planning on hitting the parade, wishes, MSEP, and 31 attractions between multiple parks? Wow. That feat might rival ours just because we have to plan at being certain places during those events to capitalize on ride times. So you'll lose those great times for rides for that. Good luck! Maybe with what we do you'll find something that gives you a spark of inspiration. ;)

When I said "roughed in" "rough idea" is probably a better term. People were wondering what you were planning on doing and like you said, looking at the day, park hours, and a little bit of logic/experience from planning my own 4 park I could see a "rough idea" of where you'd go when. Coming up with a detailed plan of attack is a whole different level of planning. I had seen the original video but hadn't ready anything of the revised

For my day, FOF, Wishes and MSEP are included in the "attraction" count. My biggest "advantage" was being able to pick the attractions. I'm planning a mainly non-Disney trip to Universal, Seaworld and Busch Gardens. I've got a day left on a No Expiration Ticket. Hitting all of those parks "thrill rides" were not a priority I went for attractions that in my mind "screamed Disney". So, I cut Soarin, Test Track, RnR, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain right away (although a couple of those are game day add ins). That's a lot of headliner gone. Instead I've got things like Country Bears, Tiki Birds, Wishes, etc.

Any idea how so I guess if you FP at MK and grab 4 and 5. And RD DHS but that still leaves Epcot with long waits at TT and Soarin and that's ignoring DAK completely. Hmm.

We can only get FPs at one park, but there are other ways we have to tackle at least the major rides based on when we're there. The key is to only do FP rides and the not-so-long-wait rides during the day and have other plans for all the big rides. :)

It can't be done. Because of FP+ you can only do 3-4 rides in a day.

Good luck trying though.

:rotfl2:

Best response on the boards in a long time. But how can you get a 4th ride? Everyone knows all the FP+s are gone by the time you ride your first three.

Sounds crazy and fun all at the same time. Good luck and I can't wait to hear about it.

Awesome! Have a great time and good luck. Wish I were with you instead of cleaning and shopping for Thanksgiving dinner.

Wishing y'all short lines, beautiful weather, crowds that part like the red sea, transportation that runs like the Indy 500, rides up and running without a glitch, magnificent bladder control, and a darn good time. I will think about y'all all day and look forward to the report!
Melissa :thumbsup2

Thanks, Melissa!! Looks like we'll be getting rain most of the evening but hopefully that will just push away the crowds and not shut down rides. Beautiful weather means bigger crowds, so can you wish for a light but annoying rain shower instead? ;-)

I can relate to "unusual" quests like this. I did one far weirder back in 1990 or 1991. I set out to drink from every drinking fountain at Disneyland in day.

Ended up finishing about 2pm. It was tougher than it sounds, as some fountains are located in places not always accessible to guests, and some require waiting in an attraction queue. And it meant I had to get lucky with not being thwarted by construction fences. (I ended up tearing open a plastic bag covering a fountain on the upper level of the Space Mountain queue.)

About a year later, to my horror, I discovered a fountain up near the Fantasyland Skyway entrance that I had missed.

In order by park (not the order we'll be riding them):

26. Ellen's Energy Adventure

I'll try to respond to some of your questions while I'm at the airport tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the positive responses and for the Twitter followings!

That is a long time (unless planning to nap here ). If you skip this one and add Mickey's Philharmagic and Bugs Life you could fit even more rides!

Good luck! :cheer2:

But then they wouldn't be doing every ride. They'd be doing every ride (except the long slow one we don't want to waste time on) and 2 shows. If their goal was to get as many unique attractions as possible that might be a good plan but a different goal. As far as "wasting time". Those ride, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Great Movie Ride, Carousel of Progress, Kilimanjaro Safari etc. give them time to rest their feet for a while. In the case of Ellen's Energy Adventure and Carousel of Progress, the lines are "never" long so they are a good attraction for times of the day when attraction times are long everywhere else.
