It wasn't Market Basket. The "home" where the soups were made was an out of state industrial kitchen. Chicken noodle soup is not naturally thick but our store's was. I guess it could be if you add an excess of noodles which release starch. It was not thick because there was a jelly layer from bones. It had a thickener added and it was extremely unpleasant until the 5 gallon bags could be heated up and stirred.
