What if you don't want the Disney photography? Can you get an outside photographer? How does that work? Meaning, do you just tell Disney you don't want their photographer and then get one yourself. The price is the price no matter what things you omit from their package?

I read that they offer enhancements to an Escape package and that that info is given to you with your contract. Anyone care to share what those enhancements are? I saw somewhere that you can add food items to the cake cutting ceremony? Is that true?

If I have a dinner after the ceremony at a resort restaurant I am allowed to wear my dress right? Do I have to have a minimum amount of people? I might only have a party of 4-6.

How long does the ceremony last?
Thanks for any info you can give me!!!

Yes, you can use an outside photographer. There is no change in the package price however as of right now you can "exchange" your photo package for a MK Honeymoon shoot (not to be confused with the MK Bridal shoot) if you use an outside photographer.

There are several including different musician choices, different photography packages, different transportation options and you can add floral/decorations for your ceremony. I don't think you can add food items to the cake cutting ceremony. I know you can add other drink options. Some brides have had dessert parties after the ceremony/reception or booked special cruises (i.e. Wishes or Illuminations).

You can wear your dress at any resort restaurant. There is no minimum (well, I guess technically you need at least two, right?;) )

Escape weddings are given a basic 2 hour window. The ceremony itself really only lasts about 20-25 minutes. There's a little time beforehand to get everyone in position, maybe take a few pics (unless you don't want to see your groom beforehand) and there is time for a first dance, pictures, and some other activity afterwards and that takes up the rest of the time.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for all the info!

It would be for our VR so DH and I will see each other before the ceremony. We were going to do a Wishes VR, but am rethinking it due to some family issues.

If anyone else has anything to add feel free!
