Where would you suggest eating lunch on the "first day"?

Beaches & Cream
Yacht Club Galley
ESPN Club
Rose & Crown
Chefs de France

I picked Beaches and Cream because I've never been to the other places! :p

DH and I have eaten lunch at Beaches and Cream twice and enjoyed it both times. The burgers are really good...but make sure you save room for the ice cream!

It depends on what you want.
Chefs De France is excellent. DH and I enjoyed it very much for lunch. It is more of an upscale and leisurely place to dine.

Beach and Cream is great for burgers, shakes and ice cream. It is noisy and fun. The chicken noodle soup is also great there.

ESPN is a great place to go if you want to watch a game and my DH and DS think they have the best (and hottest) wings anywhere. I like it to watch football not for the food.

I've never eaten in the other two mentioned.

I’d rather eat inside of a park than not. But my favorite park is EPCOT. Our last visit we spend 1 ½ to 2 hours per lunch while eating at EPCOT. But to be fair there were not a lot of clients in the restaurants so the CM’s had time to chat with us. I like C de F better that R & C.

We've only done the Yacht Club Galley for breakfast and we've never done Chef's de France so I can't comment on those two. We have eaten at Beaches and Cream and even though it gets great reviews on the board, my family thought it was only okay. It is a small place and the wait for a table can be long sometimes. We absolutely love ESPN though! It is a tradition that we eat there at least once per trip. Another poster commented on their wings. They are great and so are the cheese smothered fries. It isn't fancy but we like it a lot and can't wait to have dinner there in November. If you do go there, make a "pit stop" in the restroom - it was cute. Have a great time!

Sorry - I would go off your list and pick Cape May Buffet! It's right there at the YBC too! :)

I voted for B&C because this is one of my favorite restaurants onsite for lunch. That being said, I would probably recommend Chefs de France instead. B&C has been getting much more popular in recent years, and we have found it impossible to get in during peak meal times. The only times we could get in were during the afternoon or later in the evening. If you try for a sit-down in epcot, you can make a PS and assure yourself of a spot. I have had a wonderful lunch at Chefs before, and I am sure anyone would enjoy themselves.

Do you or anyone else in your party have an AP/PAP? If so, you can get 10% off lunch if you choose the Yacht Club Galley, Chefs de France or Rose & Crown. The discount is good Monday through Friday through the end of this year and is valid for the Passholder and up to three guests.

ESPN is our tradition after flying out early. Nothing better then the wings for lunch.

Try the bar next to the yacht's men steak house great salad's & sandwich's! & is frequently overlooked! (Yes, you are allowed in there.) I do like beaches if its not crowded (like that will happen). And for the All American Family (like yours) american pavilion is the way to go in epcot. MKY :p

Cali,
I voted for Beaches n cream, Jerry and I always get a table, if we do have to wait it is like 10 minutes.
ESPN, is too ordinary, the YC galley is good too, but I still prefer Beaches to get into the "disney" mode! :)

I also like the idea of Rose and Crown or Chefs! nothing like a WS restaurant to kick it off!

hmmm.... these decisions are always so tough!
Laura :)
