EP Fireworks Cruise - View?

I'm just curious if anyone has done the EP Fireworks Cruise yet and, if so, how was your view of Harmonious? It seems the cruise does not offer a direct view of the "portal". I'm just trying to decide if we would like to see it from the boat, knowing the view isn't great, or do we join the crowds and try for a better view in Italy or between Canada and Mexico. Thanks for your thoughts!
