Early Magic Hour

If the Disney websit says that MK will open at 9:00am-9:00pm and then says that it is a Early Magic Hour, does this mean that MK is really going to open at 8:00am for resort guests?

Yes... if it is a morning EMH, resort guests will be allowed in at 8:AM.

Yes, 8am-9am would be the early entry for resort guests.

Yes, definitely try to take advantage of these morning hours... you can get so much done in such a short time. More guests attend the EMH in the pm.

I had heard to avoid the park on those days (not those hours) because it is usually busier on the day of an early entry day. I heard that although the first hour is slower it is busier overall because everyone joins those that are already there. Is that true?
