EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

Oh my goodness I am in some serious Disney trouble. Last night I had 3 different dreams about my family and I being on the Magic. Each dream was so vivid I swear I felt like I was there. Everytime I would wake up and laugh at myself. When I told my family this morning they all said dang wish I had that dream. So if the dreams are already starting I am in some trouble.

That is too funny. One of the first nights after finding out I was pregnant I dreamed that DCL called me and said they had heard the exciting news, and asked how could they help me in the rebooking process. My DH thought I was nuts, all the things to worry about with a pregnancy and I dream about having to postpone our cruise. My priorities must be a little screwy too. :rotfl2:

Hey guys, just popping in, busy, busy around here these days.

Welcome Kristin! After August we will have to get our daughters emailing. DH thinks we should wait even longer to tell the kids, but I don't think I will be able to wait too much longer. DS is already asking why we can't go on the boat when we go to WDW this year.

Pink, how is your DD doing? Hope she is feeling better!

Stacie, will your DD be almost 13 when we cruise. It seems like she is almost a year older than my DD who will be just barely 12 when we cruise.

Tomorrow is DS 8th bday. I have to run to the store to get goodies for his class this morning, finish cleaning house (brother and family coming in town today), get balloons and go to Michaels to get a couple of things for his party and also for our Girl Scout unit camp next weekend. We have 56 people for the camping trip this time, about 42 or 44 girls and the rest adults. We had our last planning meeting last night and got a lot accomplished.

Well, gotta run, need to get the kids up for school......

I am so proud of myself, I have finally read all 18pages of text. You guys make me tired with all that is going on in your lives. Well you can add another person to the birthday list. My DD will be turning 10 on the cruise. 2007 is going to be a big year for us, my husband and I will have our 13yr anniversary but will technically be our 20 if you consider dating. I will be turning 34  and my husband will be 38  . Before you guys think
I did a typo YES we started dating when I was a freshman age 14.

Well life is pretty crazy here in St. Louis, we have siding going up in 5 days. And just because we are crazy we are tearing up the carpet and doing hard wood floors in 23 days. And just because we are really insane we are sanding and painting the first floor as we speak so in the future the wood floors don't get messed up. BTW did I say I was nuts???

If I am MIA for a few thats because I passed out from the high of paint fumes :rotfl2:

Kristin

Wow Cristi and Kristin...you have a lot going on. We are hoping to paint our kitchen this weekend. We'll see if it gets done...

DD's arm is getting better, so I'm guessing it's not broken. She still cannot tightly clench her fist. When I picked her up from school today, she was holding her book bag in her left hand, so she is able to grip things. I've just never heard of a sprained arm.

I had made a list of all of the names in this group, but I lost it. Hopefully I can find it this weekend. Maybe I'll post it.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

:crazy2: Do you think you have enough going on? Don't forget to get out in the fresh air. I would hate for you to pass out from the fumes..... ;)

Well, my brother and family will be here any minute. I just got back from Sams, grocery store, Michaels and liquor store. As soon as I walked into the house I realized that I forgot to get candy for the pinata. :guilty: So, back to the store for me.....

OK--DD's birthday is 2/06/95, she will be 12 on the cruise, turning 13 a couple months after. I'm glad that there will be other girls her age, I was afraid she'd ask to be bumped up to the teen club. I'm not ready for that. I'm sure we'll cruise at least once when she's "officially" a teenager.

Kristen, it's sounds like you have a lot going on, we've redone every room in our house, except the kitchen. I'm waiting to do it until one of the avacado green appliances dies. Kitchens are just too expensive!! Then again, who knows what we'll end up doing to the house this summer to make room for baby.

I went on the field trip with DD's class today to the state histroical museum and the capitol. I even made it up 180 steps to the top of the dome, out of breath, but I made it.

It's about 3:30 here, we're waiting for DH to get done at work and bring the camper down to the campground. We're camping through Monday. I need to go to the grocery store and get camping food but thought I would sit down in the chair for a couple minutes firts.

Hope everyone has a great, long, weekend!!

Welcome Kristin

Just got home from my trip to Orlando.

As I arrived at Orlando MCO airport, I saw all the signs for DCL, helpers, Disney & DCL buses, I felt the need for a silent weep. Weeping cause I wasn't going on a cruise. :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: I so wanted to get in line for DCL. Dec,2007 is sooooooo far away.

Had a good time in Florida, went to Disney Magic Kingdom, MGM & Animal Kingdom. Rode EE not as bad as I thought, pretty cool though.

Back at the airport for return trip, saw soooooo many people who just got of the Magic. I was weeping again :sad1: wishing it was me

Everyone have a safe Holiday  :cheer2:

ok went back & copied photopass to my computer here are a few I like
wore my shoes all day at the park. Feet never hurt.

Two weeks before cruise I bought a new pair of New Balance sneakers, wore them one hour & feet were killing me

Sharon--I'm glad you had a good time. Love your pics! I was reading VerandahMan's blog and my eyes got misty a couple of times.

We're back from camping and in the air conditioning. Saturday was rainy, we spent the morning at home, it was hot and beautiful from about 3:00 on. Sunday and today it was 95, hotter than Orlando. DD was glad that the camper has air conditioning, she had a friend out today. I just parked in my chair under the awning and let the breeze blow. It was heaven.

I think we're going out for ice cream tonight. DS is having a great time in Washington DC. His flight comes in tomorrow night at 10:15 plus hour ride home. The kids still have school Tues, Wed, and Thurs, hopefully it cools off for them.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Cristi, hope the birthday party went good!

Great pics Sharon! Glad you had fun!

The b'day party was a sucess. DS declared it to be the best b'day party he has ever had! :goodvibes 3 1/2 hours is a LONG time though. We had 14 kids here including my two and my nephew. Four of the kids were DD's friends so they weren't all DS's age. The jumping castle was HUGE! They had a great time in it and just playing in the backyard. I had also gotten t-shirts and they all decorated a shirt with fabric markers instead of doing goodie bags. That was fun! DH's sister and family came over later in the party and my parent's also came over later. We hung out for a while, then after my sister-in-law and family left, my folks ended up staying for dinner and we all had to discuss our upcoming WDW trip. I am exhausted now though. My brother and his family have been here since Friday afternoon. I just took my sister in law and nephew up to my parents house today (my brother had to go back home). My house looks like a tornado went through it, but I don't care right now. I am seriously thinking about putting my pjs on and hitting the bed. Just need to get those kids to bed first..... :rolleyes1

Sharon...Chip n Dale are dd's favorites. They always cut up with her before the pictures.

Cristi...glad you survived the party. 3 1/2 hours is a long time. So far we've only had small parties for dd...like 3 of her friends. You are quite brave. I hope you got to bed early and are feeling energized today.

Only 6 more school days here...dd is in year round school, so she goes back on July 17. It will be a short summer, but we love those 3 week track outs through out the year.

Sounds like the birthday party was a great success, hope youv'e recovered. Pink, I think we would like year round school, it would be nice to have short breaks instead of a whole summer where the kids are bored after 3 weeks.

It has been a roller coaster ride here the last two days. We haven't found a contractor to build our addition yet, we've been keeping our eyes open for houses that might fit our needs. Mother's day weekend we saw one for sale by owner but it was suppertime and we didn't stop. We went for a drive last night and it was listed with an agent! The lady was home and let us go through it and it was perfect. We went to the bank this morning, were pre-approved by 1:00 and went to put an offer on it only to find out that someone from out of state had put an offer in this morning for the full price. We're willing to pay above the asking price but there is no way to counter offer unless the inspection shows something wrong. How frustrating. I can't believe how upset I am even though we weren't even really looking! I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Wow, we were getting pretty far down on page 2, I just had to save us :goodvibes :goodvibes
I think I have recovered from the party. Next year 2 hours max
My house is still a disaster area from the presents and then having company. We have a Unit camping trip tomorrow through Sunday. I will be able to get a lot of stuff out of my living room then. I have to get all of the camping stuff together and make sure I have everyones permission slips and health forms. I need to run to Michaels or somewhere and get a few more silver or gold sharpies for a craft we are doing.
Today is the kids last day at school. They are happy. I kind of wish we were on year round school. It would make it easier to take cruises at off times. :teeth:

Just got home. My husband has told me that I need to do laundry!! What!!! I am wore out. I feel like I have been on a two week fitness camp with all the walking. My feet hurt!! Ha!

I have read through the posts and boy have I missed alot. I hope Pink's DD is getting better every day. And a big hello to Kristin!!! As for all the remodeling....Boy you guys have alot of energy.

The weather in Disney was fairly hot during the day but really nice at night with a nice breeze. The parks got busy right before Memorial day and stayed that way. But we got alot of park time before it got busy. I think it will be a busy summer.

We did the dining plan for the whole trip and I am sure I gained weight. The food was good and plentiful. And I think it was a great deal. We used all the credits except for two table service. My son just wanted to go to Disney Quest a couple of nights and get away from me and his sister. Go figure. But even so, it is a fantastic deal. We ate at Le Cellier twice!! But, you had better have those ADR's. The restaurants were very busy.

I guess I have to do some laundry. Ack! See you on the boards.

Tammy-Welcome back, sounds like you had a fabulous time. I'm thinking the dining plan sounds like a good idea, even if we have to pay for it. Paying for it up front would mean less money we'd have to bring. I think a lot of people are taking advantage of the free dining promotion.

Nothing new here, although it is definately summer. The highs have been around 90 each day, I finally turned the air back on today. DD and I went to some garage sales today and found lots of baby clothes.

The contractor is supposed to be giving us his bid this week. We're hoping it's doable.

Tonight DD is going to Over the Hedge while DH, DS, and I go to Da Vinci Code. Looks like popcorn:: for supper. (Love the new smiles).

Hope everyone is well, and that all the kids are happy to be free for a few weeks.

Stacey hope you have fun with the popcorn. Well Greg and I thought stripping wood would be a piece of cake. Boy oh boy were we wrong. Two hours later not sure if we should continue or throw in the towel. Maybe we will feel better in the morning. It is sure summer here, we have had the AC going for 2wks now. Hope everyone is doing well.

Kristin

I thought about going to the spa at Saratoga Springs for a pedicure. I have never had one (I'm embarrassed to say). It is on my "to do" list.

Well, it's the second day of summer and I'm bored. Having kind of a down day. Taxi-ing kids, took them to Arby's for lunch, washed all the baby clothes from the garage sale, lined up bible school stuff for next week. Now what? I think I'll order the new Passporter for DCL so I have something to look forward to in the near future. Baby and cruise seem to be forever away. Bible School, Girl Scout trip, swim season all sound like work and make me feel overwhelmed. I'm sure tomorrow will be better. Thanks for listening!
