EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

Yes, our last cruise was the Eastern the week before we are going now.

I'm back from Disney so I can start getting excited and concentrating on the cruise! yay

This is going to be tough...who to root for????

the Rockies

or

the Red Sox

JEEPERS IT'S COLD!!!!!!

We just got a cold front in today that dropped the temperature around 30 degrees. We're now around 52° with gusts and rain. Major change from yesterday when it was in the high 80s, sunny with a nice breeze. One of my friends and I were about to head to class when we got a face full of rain and turned right around to the safety of our beds.

How was your trip Melissa?

How was your trip Melissa?

It was good for the most part. The 2.5 days I was with my mother was really fun. My father's part of the trip on the other hand went really bad, in fact he ended up ditching me; however, I'm not going to dwell on the negativity that is that man.

I did 2 Party of the Senses, South African Wine Event, Coral Reef F&W Pairing and a Le Cellier F&W Pairing. I think the 2nd Party of the Senses was tainted by the actions of my father so I wasn't in the mood, so I got to spend the entire evening by myself sulking basically.

Lots of good food and wine though, as that was the purpose of this trip mostly. I think I gained about 5 pounds. Adventurer's Club was really fun too - except I think I may have drank a bit too much that night but it was fun nevertheless.

The trip was relaxing - didn't go commando this time. Did a lot of attractions I usually didn't do like the animal trails and circle vision.

I'm going to start my trip report tonight in more detail. I'm at work right now so I don't really have access to my pictures so thats why I'm not doing it now.

No way, it's gotta be the
ROCKIES!!!!!

Haha.

I think this is going to be a great series. I'm really excited for Wednesday Night - Shaun and I are debating on throwing a game party (well gathering since it would only really be about 12 people) or just going to the bar for the game.

Well, since our Indians are out, I'll be pulling for the Rockies. The good thing is that I won't have to stay up until midnight watching a game only to have John wake up 1 hour after we turn the TV off...

Send some of the cold weather our way. It's still in the 80's here.

Melissa, sorry your father ditched you. Glad you were able to enjoy the trip otherwise. How many Disney trips have you been on since subscribing to this thread?

MIL and I were talking about formal dresses for the cruise. DH and FIL decided to mock us and talk about their wardrobe as well. MEN :rolleyes1

Um a few.
October 2006 - 3 Nights w/ Mom CSR (she paid)
January 2007 - 6 Nights by myself CBR
June 2007 - 7 Nights for Fiance's First Trip Pop
October 2007 - 9 Nights (suppose to be 3 nights with mom/3 nights on my own/3 nights with dad but I ended up spending more than I was suppose to due to him) CBR

However, it wasn't that expensive since I'm a florida resident and had an AP, plus this year my AP was free thanks to the wedding. I spend my money on travel rather than other things a typical college student would and by not travelling from August 2004 to September 2006 I saved a bit of money. Next year I will only have one trip - Feb 2008. After that we won't be doing anything until 2009 since most places I'm interviewing with only allow 2 weeks vacation to begin with and that will be taken for the wedding.

less than 30 minutes until the game starts.:jumping1: :jumping1:
GO ROCKIES!!!!

Melissa - I'm sure your celebration was fun! If you're awake yet :coffee: , you can fill us in on the festivities! ;)

Oh it was.
We did the bar instead of people over and it was fun. Didn't drink since I had an interview this morning and work so I"m wide awake. Thats what Saturday games are for.

13-1 :cool1: :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Last night's game was painful:sick: :sad1:
Now the cobwebs are all shaken off and they can get down to business.

Okay, the compulsive planner in me is kicking in. :goodvibes

Way too much time spent :surfweb: today.

DD11 is having loads of trouble deciding between activities in Cozumel. She's torn between Dolphin Discovery and Paradise Beach. The Paradise Beach website is incredible (when it's working) - it shows all kinds of activities she's intrigued by, including a floating iceberg - apparently you climb up one side and slide down the other. I have a feeling that we probably couldn't do dolphins and PB in one day, time-wise. Any input?

And does anyone have any experience with 7-Mile Beach in Grand Cayman? Is it anything like Paradise Beach? I can't find any photos on the web or in this forum. I was thinking about offering this as an alternative to PB, but without info more specific than "watersports available" I can't decide.

So exciting to be so close and having to make choices like these...
