Drinking around the world?

The first time I "drank around the world" I made the mistake of being talked into trying sake, WARM sake. Not my thing. The next time, I tried the plum wine. Better than the sake, but still not really my thing. So, the next time, I tried the Kirin beer. Bottom line - Kirin was the best choice in Japan for me so far.

Yes! I have been done in by the sake bar more than once!!

On my last trip in July, I did not drink around the world, but I tried some different drinks (no sake for me). Well, in China, I had "Tipsy Ducks in Love" - it knocked me down! I didn't think it would happen based on its description - Hong Kong Style Yuan Yang Drink Creamy cold tea and coffee combo blended with bourbon whiskey and chocolate - but whooh!

We have only done it once so far. We did it over a few days and DH and I shared most of them (we had the kids with us) and a couple of the drinks were with dinner. In November it will be just DH and me so we are going to do it all in one day. Luckily we will be staying at BCV on that day so we can just stumble home

My favourite was the Grey Goose slush in France. The worst was the Sultan's Colada in Morocco.
