Has anyone stayed here? I would love to get some feedback. We decided to do a last minute "budget" trip next week since we have APs this year and I was able to book July 2-6 for $93 a night through Priceline.

I am a little nervous because we've stayed at Homewood, residence inn, the Marriott, and Marriott suites and have loved all of them.

What's the good, bad, & ugly with doubletree orange? Thanks!

We stayed there one night before a trip last year. The good is : it's Doubletree and lives up to those standards. Nice rooms, not too small. Lobby is amazing. Free cookies at check-in was nice. Staff was super-nice! Bathroom we loved , except in our room the double sinks were inside the bathroom. Great bathroom amenities (Crabtree & Evelyn). The Bad: We did not like being that far away from the parks. You can hop back on the freeway, but still it was a drive we would rather not make. Bad, the mattresses. yikes! :rolleyes2 They were so hard!! Dbf and I were both in pain the next morning (our backs) from sleeping in those beds. But, it depends on what type of mattress you like. I like a firm mattress, just not THAT firm. Others may have no problem at all with it. Overall I would not go again just because of the bed. But it is not a bad property, and on a budget it works!
