This is embarrassing to admit, but I call Diana "Yanny" (sort of like if you pronounced it Di-Yana"). She also seems to respond better to it.

Chloe's name is harder to manipulate, but she is sometime Clo-Clo or girly-girl.

-- so I said that what dh didn't know was the I registered him (which I didn't but dh did believe me) as--"Kobi Christopher Travis James" after my dh since this was now "our baby". It would get to my dh when I called the puppy this-- and over time it just stuck. So now whenever he gets in trouble- he gets the whole, long name- and usually a lot of eye rolling for dh.
