Does anyone wear a slip anymore?

Heck, beige/nude under anything! Or taupe, coffee, shell/rose, etc., - whatever most closely matches one's skin tone! Easier and more cost-effective - and yes, I realize this isn't the Budget Board - than assorted colors.

I'd have said the same thing. Until yesterday. I ordered some Spanx camisoles from QVC, and I wore one for the first time. Surprisingly not uncomfortable, yet effective!

Wait, wait, wait.... Spanx Camisoles? HOW did I miss this!? How well do they work? OMG I need to get some!

The only slip I even own is a spanx bra/slip combo thing. I think I have worn it maybe 3 times in the past 8 or so years, and only with formal dresses (weddings). So no, I do not wear slips. I don't even know anyone that wears a slip.

I always wear a slip and make my 2 teenage dd wear them too. I feel naked without one and hate to see a women who wears a light cotton dress w/o one and see her butt cheeks shaking as she goes walking down the street because her dress is clinging to her. ewww

And no back bra bulge! Really nice. They're not bras, but they cover the entire bra - so really, you could wear it as a (tight) top on its own. I wore the same style top Monday, and again Wednesday - and I could really tell the difference in the fit, Spanx vs Spanxless.

I'm getting more.

I wear a slip on occasion. I have a couple cotton dresses I wear a full slip underneath, and a couple fancier skirts I wear a slip with. I mainly wear the slip because it makes the dress or skirt hang better on me. I'm not worried about my silhouette (I have legs. Big deal), but I do not like for the lines of my undergarments to show. I wear a camisole for the same reason with some of my button up blouses. The shirt just looks better with something underneath.

How can you tell if a female has "nothing" on under white pants or is wearing nude panties?

I live in white pants all summer - I wear a nude colored thong. So does that mean everyone that walks behind me is now assuming I'm au naturale???

I don't think I've ever been able to tell if a gal has a thong or nothing on under her dresses. Guess I'm not staring hard enough, lol.

And to answer the OP's question. Most of my skirts are lined. If I do wear one that has no lining, then yes, always a slip.

Well, there have been two women who wear thongs under their pants and it's easy to tell. Why? Because you can see their cellulite dimples against the fabric of their pants (these aren't white pants either). I swear, I'm not staring, it's just so noticeable. They aren't overweight either. Just have cellulite on their butt. A normal pair of undies smooths that right over.

I don't even notice your underwear unless it stands up and shouts at me. So I'll notice you're wearing a thong if I can see it - either outlined through your pants, or peeking out the top. Otherwise, your butt doesn't attract my attention. And if I do happen to notice it, I'll assume you're wearing some good flesh-colored undies.
