Does anyone know how crowded May is going to be?

We're planning on going back to WDW May 10-15th. Has anyone else been around this time? How's the weather? Will major crowds be there by then?

Hello Cynthiagayle01 .... we were there at almost those same dates 2 trips ago. We found the crowds fairly light ... it is between winter break and summer vacation. The temps were hot ... but hey, we're from Vermont and going to Boston is heat shock for us. All-in-all .... great time of year for a World trip. Have Fun

You should be fine with regards to crowds. Weather is harder to pinpoint. We've been blessed with pretty moderate temps at that time on our trips at that time. But it could be much warmer!

I went towards the end of May last year. The crowds weren't bad, but it was pretty hot. It rained for a few minutes one day but that was it. It was a nice time to go

We have been twice in May, both times it has been hot...in the upper 80's to 90's...one trip it was super humid, the other trip we actually had a few drier days with no humidity.
We love May and think the crowds are very manageable.

This will be the opening weekend for Star Tours as well as Star Wars Weekends??

I expected Studios would be crazier than Animal Kingdom???

I agree that the numbers for hollywood studios may be a bit low. Especially on the 20th (which is a fantasmic day and is also the opening day of star tours). Don't get me wrong...I would LOVE HS to only be a 5.6 on the 20th (I booked a mama melrose dinning package for the 20th before the opening date of star tours was changed to the 20th ). I don't know...they just seem a little low to me

FYI everyone, May 12th and 13th there will be a D23 Scavenger hunt and I think the 14th & 15th there are other events. Crowds will likely be higher and there will be teams "walking quickly" through the parks. I would LOVE to do the Scavenger hunt but I don't think I could do it with a 3 year old.....AND, it would be our last 2 days of vacation, I don't know if I will want the stress of it all. It's $85 a team.
