I have a GREAT phone...that I have to give up. :( I've been thrilled with my service from Cingular Wireless, BUT they aren't in the area I moved to! :( And I have a great Motorola phone that's so easy to operate, made well, and just a fun phone to use.

Well, two days ago I bought a phone from Sprint. I HATE this phone! Qualcomm? What is that? Certainly no match for Motorola! :( Now I have to figure this one out, and it doesn't even display my phone number. But it does display my e-mail address on it. :earseek: I think I need to know my number more often. LOL!

So, are you happy with your cell phone?

I have verizon wireless - I like the service, but hate the phone. I hate phones in general.

I love my cell phone. I have a colour screen Nokia with polyphonic ringtones and camera attachment. Plus it has really cool games and you can download more games onto the phone via its internet connection.

Yes. I have an LG 6000 through US Cellular. Several things could be improved, but I would give it an 8 out of 10, and I use my phone a LOT, 3,000 to 4,000 a month. I can't stand the toy store rings it has, so only use vibrate, and I would prefer the earpiece jack to be in a different location. A few other things, but pretty good.

I have Verizon and is not happy with my phone. I have a flip phone and the ring tone is really soft, that I miss alot of my calls

DH and I both have Sprint phones. I love mine. His I don't care for, but he likes it.

I have the VGA 1000 by Samsung.
DH has the Sanyo 8100.

We use our phone for all long distance calls. Close to 1000 minutes a month not including free nights after 7 and free weekends. :)

Yup, I am. It's one of those LG camera phones from Verizon. Really spiffy, great service :teeth:

I have Nextel service and a Motorola i730.. and I love it

I have the oldest cell phone on this discussion board....A Motorola StarTac! It looks like a brick compared to the newer cell phones. But I like the fact that it is bigger because now that I'm older, I don't have to put the bifocals on to see the numbers!!!:teeth:

TC:cool:

That's the one I have and love that I don't want to give up!!

If you have the oldest, then I must have the second oldest. My phone is an Audiovox 9000. It has built in voice dialing and has been a reliable phone for me.

DW had an LG-330W phone that replaced our original Nokia 232 analog cell phone. She was so angry with me for taking away her Nokia that when the LG phone went bad, I bought her a replacement on Ebay. The replacement worked for a few months, then it stopped working in digital mode. So I bought another replacement on Ebay. This one was in a sealed box. It had never been used or programmed. And it didn't work in digital mode either. So I asked Alltel what the problem was. It seems that they didn't support the LG phone anymore. I never did get a straight answer out of them, but the "loaned" my wife a Motorola phone that she's been using for the past year. I don't know how she stands it. The sound quality is horrible. Since her contract with Alltel is up, and since it may be time to get a phone for James and/or Sarah, we might have to shop for a new phone for her. And perhaps a new carrier. I just hope we can find a simple phone without too many bells and whistles but that has decent sound quality.

Thats what I have. Much as I'd like to get a newer one that's not so "ghetto" as my friends say, my dad won't trade it in for a newer one until it's not working anymore. Unfortunately it works just perfectly:rolleyes: . I love my Verizon service though. Have only found a few places in the country where my phone didn't work.
Pin Wizard: don't want to bring bad news, but Qualcomm is bad news. My dad had a couple, and neither worked very well. Not sure on your service; that doesn't exist in NH, but unless they've fixed the quirks with Qualcomm you could have some problems.

I have a motorola phone with Nextel service and I love them both. Nextel is the first cell phone company I've never had any issues with.

Mine is ok, but I like DS's better:D

Yep my Nokia 5125 is just fine for me. But I am sure I will have to "upgrade" soon, some of the buttons are starting to not work. But what do you expect after 3 years??

I've also got a Motorola i730, with Nextel service. I've had no problems with either the phone or the service.

When I switched from Verizon to Cingular I got a Samsung 427. Neat little folding phone but couldn't get a good reception in my house and it kept dropping calls in the house. I gave it right back after having it 2 days and went back to the only brand I had ever used and loved- Nokia.
It's a 3595 and I love it. Great reception in the house and no dropped calls.

It's OK...I have a Samsung N400 through Sprint. Service is good...my home area is South Jersey/Philly. I take my phone to Orlando and get crystal clear calls. Its not the picture phone model I want (although I can hook a camera up to this phone), but it has a lot of cool features.

Cocamami I have the same phone I bought it off E Bay for 80 bucks US and put it on my service up here Bell Mobility. The phone has lots of cool features and the call quality is really good and had great reception when calling home wqith it from Disney in Dec. The phone sels for about 400 bucks up here in Canada.
