Good morning. It's half sunny now, but they're predicting storms this afternoon. Forecast then shows a good chance of rain Sat-Tuesday with a slight chance of it Wed and Thur. This never happens here in June. It's going to be 83 today, but I turned the ac off and opened the windows. The cats have been pacing looking for open ones, lol. I'll close it later if it rains, so it won't get humid in here.

I got the lawn mowed again yesterday, can't believe it grew so much in just 3 days. But I'm looking at my neighbors front yard and he mowed his on Sunday and it's really tall again.

No plans for the day yet, might be a day off, lol

Good morning dear friends. I had a wonderful night sleep. What a blessing indeed. Dad is hanfing in there. He may need to go see his doctor early next week. His back still hurts God willing we will be extra blessed to celebrate Father's Day together on Sunday. Happy Friday to all. I will check back in later.

Happy Friday!

Well hello friends!!!! I've been missing for a while. The new job is going great. I had my 60-day review yesterday and they gave me a glowing review, so that's good. I've been on my own for about a week, no trainer, so that gave my confidence a big boost. I was telling my manager that when I went on my own it was like taking my crutch away and that was a good thing.

Mia is doing well. She moved to a big girl bed last week. I told Evan that she's thinking her bedtime and naps just became fun. So far they've found her under her bed during the night, in her chair "reading" during naptime, and the other night she came out and got Evan so he could check her room for bees. That girl!

The other day I was off so I took her to the zoo and then she came back to my house and played. She's really grown attached to Buster. Yes, I still have Buster, the dog. I decided to keep him, so he had his first trip to the vet, he was neutered, and he got microchipped.

The boys are doing well. Evan is still playing soccer which means I'm still going to his games. He got a new job a couple of months ago and loves it. Mitchell joined him about 2 weeks later. Jacob & Livia finally set a wedding date, July, 2027. Still a long way off but, at least we have a date. Good news is it gives me time to lose some weight.

I'm headed to Disney in August for a couple of days. It will be hotter than the sun, we're going to the Halloween party and the next night we're doing the After Hours party at Hollywood Studios. I was going to go by myself, but I talked Mitchell and his girlfriend, Erin, into going with me. I'm really looking forward to this, I've been wanting to do the Halloween party for years. This will be Erin's first time to Disney so I hope she enjoys it. I like going to the parks with first timers. But then again, I get nervous that they won't enjoy it like I do.

I've been skimming everyone's posts when I can get on. Glad to see you're all doing well and some of you have your own trips to look forward to. Thinking of the ones going through some rough patches.

Everyone have a great day & weekend. Hopefully you get some weekend days without rain. I'll add a picture of Mia from the zoo (we were on the zoo train), she's getting so big.

My Oncologist visit was a good one yesterday. Nothing to worry about! Come get retested and bloodwork in 4 months. Meanwhile, we are on our way to Ohio with Gus’s cremains. Looking forward to seeing good friends, and the Pines Pet Cemetery where our pets are buried. It’s a long drive, we are just approaching the PA turnpike.

I did talk with R, the kind social services director. He already knew I am covered for care here through October 25th. His colleague had taken care of that to be sure this place would be paid. I pray to go home before then. It's just good to not need to be concerned about insurance.

Good morning. Rained all night, chance of storms today and tomorrow. Maybe none on Monday, more on Tuesday. Only going to be 79 today, but it's so muggy that the ac is going to stay on.

I ended up moving all the furniture around in the master bedroom yesterday (my bedroom), and cleaning the carpet, then reorganizing my closet. I can't stand to sit around all day doing nothing. But today I might, my back is a little sore from moving stuff and I don't want to aggravate it more.

Wow what a last two hours+ M, my old roommate, who has been in the hospital for almost two and a half weeks, came back. And now Monica is going right back to the hospital. It sounds like she never should have been released. Prayers for her and me...too!

Good morning. It didn't rain yesterday until after dinner. It's drizzling now and calling for rain today, tonight, tomorrow, and Tuesday. We might see the sun again by Wed. and then storms again on Thursday night. Temps are going to start climbing again on Thursday too. Today is only going to be 71.

One of my outside cats has been MIA for 3 days. A yellow and white striped tiger, which is what I named her. She was the sweetest girl, the only outdoor one who would let me pick her up. She would rub her head on my shoulder and purr. I tried to bring her in when she was small, but she wanted no part of it. I wish I knew where she was. It hurts my heart when they disappear and I don't know what happened to them. She's been here for at least 3 years, and all of a sudden is gone.



To all the men in our lives who are fathers, of any kind, Happy Father's Day!

At 4am, M was brought back from the hospital. Only here. I was blessed to catch sone extra sleep and hope M got some, too.

Dad and I had a lovely Father's Day together. A kind CNA, J, took a great picture of us. CVS, where we get prints from, sent me a code for a free 8x10! Dad will pick it up later this week.

Dad, I sure pray, if need be will make a doctor appointment in the morning. We are so grateful to have been able to reschedule our floors and as I said have the peace of mind knowing I am covered here.

M, my roommate, is still here. I pray she is comfortable. Earlier today a nursing supervisor C, said that M never should have been released to begin with because she was still bleeding a lot He never came back after that. The morning charge nurse did a couple of times. Monica seems fine.

We are thoroughly enjoying our time in Dayton. Mass at our old parish was so meaningful for us yesterday.

Unfortunately, my bowels are difficult today, and we cancelled one visit, we are going to the Pines Pet cemetery today.

Last full day here!

Update…we cancelled going to WV. Hoping for uneventful trip.

Good morning. So far no rain yet this morning, but we could get strong storms tomorrow afternoon. I can literally hear the grass growing out there. Rained on and off all yesterday.

Guess who showed up this morning with no remorse for being missing for the last 3 days and worrying me. Tiger was sitting on the deck with the other 3 waiting for breakfast. No idea where she's been, she looks fine, but she better stay put in my yard this time.
