Do you have internet access at work?

I've seen a lot of people who post that they are able to do so at work. Oh how I wish this was my case!!! We only have VERY limited internet access (by that I mean it is almost non-existent). I was wondering how many people can Dis while at work?

I have internet access right at my desk. Part of my job is doing research on the internet--I look at company's websites all the time. So I can DIS at work. I'll read stuff during working hours, but I post only during my lunch hour. They don't have a problem with me reading stuff---as long as I get my work done. I do keep it to a minimum.

I have internet access at work (I'm a teacher so have the internet in my classroom.) I could DIS at work, but don't have time to.

I have internet access at my desk. I know I shouldn't do it, but if I'm not busy, I can't resist "checking in". I've been very busy lately, I mostly only do it at lunchtime.

I have it at my work, at my desk, but I very, very, very rarely dis when I am there. The way our desks are setting, anyone that comes into our office can see my computer screen, so I don't dis at work UNLESS I want to show my coworkers a picture of something that someone has posts. For instance, there is a great thread with food pictures on the restaurant board, I showed that to them.

I have it at work as well. In fact, I'm Dis'ing right now! I do have to be careful as to when I do it during the week though. My desk is right next to my boss's desk so I can't always post.

I have internet at my desk, and I do check in often throughout the day. I usually do it between tasks when my mind is shifting from one thing to another anyway (i.e. I'm not interrupting something I was in the middle of). I am usually only on for a minute or two - just to check if anything juicy is going on I type fast, so if I am compelled to post something, it doesn't take me long. I also am on when I'm drinking mid-morning tea, and right after I've eaten and I'm letting my food settle (I usually eat at my desk - I read the paper while I am actually eating, and then I check my internet boards).

We do, but we are not allowed to use it for anything other than work-related research. They make it very clear that they monitor all our e-mails and computer usage.

I have it at work and I can go to a lot of sites except radio sites. Which is a bummer since I can't get Live365 anymore. They had problems with people downloading music and taking up the bandwith so they blocked radio.

But I can DIS whenever I want to as long as my work gets done.

I have access at work but because the computer is on the same line as the phone I can not spend more than a few minutes on it at any one time so I try not to let my finger slip onto favorites when checking the emails as if it does then the minutes seem to whizz by (why does that only happen when you are doing that kind of thing and not when you are actually working!! only kidding!!)

we have internet at work--we have to log on with a code--made very clearly that we are being monitored--not aloud at lunch either--when you are hired--this is made clear--it is not worth risking my job.

Up until a week ago, I was on Dis all day at work. Then someone retired and now I'm doing her work. I tease with my supervisor/friend that I need my Dis time!

I work at a bank in loan operations, so I'm able to Dis at work but not everyone has access to the internet.

I have quite extensive Internet-access at work, we even have a company agreement stating rules and regulations for it. But we also have a kind of Net-Nanny blocking access to all sites containing porn, violence or other offensive content.
